FT: Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is"satisfied" with how the game went and praises Ross McCrorie's midfield performance in particular.
"Obviously we have played better and we can play better and we came here to win the game," he tells Premier Sports.
"When you take into consideration we had a war at Aberdeen on Wednesday and the travel, I’m satisfied.
"We’ve still got full trust in Tav. He’s been brilliant for us in terms of the numbers of what he’s delivered and contributed this season. The keeper’s made a good save, it wasn’t to be, it would have been a good time to score and we would have maybe built on that but it wasn’t to be.
"I’m pleased with the clean sheet and a lot of performances, I thought young Ross McCrorie was outstanding, especially second half, you won’t see a better enforcer performance than that, really pleased."
FT: Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
Kilmarnock manager Steve Clarke tells BBC Sportsound: "It was pretty even, two good teams who went at it from the first minute until the last, fully committed.
"You can see that any time we come up against the big teams, we can give them a game. I think the first goal would have been crucial tonight, if we would have got that then it might have been a different story."
On the prospect of the replay at Ibrox: "We don't go with any fear."
And on the penalty award? "He (Kirk Broadfoot) didn't mean to handle it but he's fallen on the ball, so you can't have big complaints."
FT: Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
Kilmarnock winger Jordan Jones gets a post-match cuddle from Steven Gerrard, who will be his boss next season.
Jones scored the winner in last month's league match at Rugby Park but was unable to provide much of an attacking threat this evening.
They will go head to head again in the replay and when the sides meet for the remaining post-split fixture in the Premiership.
You can check out highlights from all of today's cup games at 22:20 on BBC One Scotland.
So, Hibernian, Dundee United and Partick Thistle are into the last eight of the Scottish Cup and Rangers will host Kilmarnock in a replay a week on Wednesday.
There are four more games to come over the next two days...
SUNDAY
Celtic v St Johnstone
Hearts v Auchinleck Talbot
Aberdeen v Queen of the South
MONDAY
Ross County v Inverness CT
These teams will need to do it all again at Ibrox on 20 February.
Kilmarnock goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann saved a first-half penalty from James Tavernier but that seems like a long time ago now.
The teams strangled the life out of each other in the second half, with Joe Worrall and Jermain Defoe knocking decent chances wide for the visitors.
Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard knocks the ball away as it breaks his way in the technical area. Playing for time or a poor touch from the former England captain?
Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
Steven Davis hammers in a low shot from 22 yards but it skids well wide of the target. Is that it?
Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
Kilmarnock sub Liam Miller wins a corner as five minutes of stoppage time are signalled. That's got the home fans on their feet, urging their side on but Rangers clear the set-piece without much fuss.
Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
Kyle Lafferty is on for Jermain Defoe. Can we expect Rangers to launch a few long balls now? He arrives in time for a corner but doesn't get anywhere near the delivery.
Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
Into the last five minutes we go. Can somebody provide the spark to find a winner in what has become an increasingly scrappy match?
Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
Rangers make their first change on 83 minutes as a limping Scott Arfield is replaced by Steven Davis.
Kilmarnock use their final substitute as teenager Liam Miller takes over from Chris Burke, who has put in an impressive shift against his former side.
Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
A slack moment from Youssouf Mulumbu gifts possession to Ross McCrorie, who slides a pass through to Jermain Defoe. The former England striker is on to it long before advancing goalie Daniel Bachmann but can only side an angled shot a foot or two wide of the far post.
Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
A second change for Killie. Conor McAleny gets a warm round of applause from the home fans as he makes way for Rory McKenzie.
Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
Big chance for Rangers! Joe Worrall is all alone as he rises six yards out at the back post but he can only glance wide from a corner kick.
The big defender looks to the heavens. He knows he should be doing better from there.
Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
The home side are going more direct now that Kris Boyd is on but nothing is really sticking for the big forward.
Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
Kirk Broadfoot is giving Jermain Defoe an earful as the Rangers striker goes to ground inside the Killie box. Again, Alan Muir lets play rumble on.

Quote MessageI'm surprised Rangers haven't made a change yet. Will they go with Lafferty and Defoe up top together?
Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers
The home fans are calling for a penalty as the ball pops up between James Tavernier and Conor McAleny on the edge of the box and brushes the arm of the Rangers skipper.
Referee Alan Muir is not interested.
