Dundee United make just one change from their 2-1 win over St Mirren's Renfrewshire rivals Greenock Morton.

Callum Booth is replaced by Jamie Robson at left-back.

  2. Hibs to fight Johnson banpublished at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

    Hibernian v Raith Rovers (15:00)

Hibs winger Daryl Horgan returns after missing two games with a leg injury and deadline day arrival Marc McNulty gets his first start.

Ryan Gauld drops out with an injury as does Darnell Johnson, who hurt himself in the challenge with Celtic's Emilio Izaguirre that earned him a notice of complaint from the SFA.

Caretaker boss Eddie May confirms that Hibs will contest the two-match ban.

Raith Rovers are without the injured Lewis Vaughan, who scored a hat-trick against Dunfermline in the last round.

  3. Buddies hark back to class of '87 for inspirationpublished at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

St Mirren v Dundee United (15:00)

This one is a repeat of the 1987 Scottish Cup final, when an extra-time strike from Ian Ferguson took the trophy back to Paisley after an effort from United's Iain Ferguson was controversially disallowed.

St Mirren could be forgiven for not being fully focused on the cup, given their perilous position in the Premiership but any kind of win would be a welcome lift for a side that has lost four league games on the spin going into this one.

United boss Robbie Neilson completely overhauled the squad at Tannadice in Janaury and results have piked up with three wins from the past four outings in all competitions.

  4. 'Underdogs have their day'published at 14:30 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

    Hibernian v Raith Rovers (15:00)

Raith Rovers manager John McGlynn tells BBC Sportsound: "Hibs are sitting eighth in the Premiership, the top league, and ourselves, we're sitting second in League One and Hibs are at home, so that's a massive advantage as well. That's why Hibs are big favourites today."Outside Kirkcaldy and our dressing room, there's probably not many tipping us but you know, underdogs have their day."

  5. East Fife eye second Championship scalppublished at 14:25 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

East Fife v Partick Thistle (15:00)

East Fife are ticking along nicely in League One and took care of Championship side Morton in the last round. Darren Young's side have won six of their past seven outings in all competitions.

After a sticky start to his reign, Partick Thistle boss Gary Caldwell is going in the right direction, with their 4-1 Scottish Cup win over Stranraer providing the springboard for back-to-back league wins over Queen of the South and Inverness CT.

These two have already met this season, with the Fifers prevailing 2-1 at home in the Challenge Cup.

  6. Saturday afternoon stroll?published at 14:23 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

    Hibernian v Raith Rovers (15:00)

Bobby Madden is the referee at Easter Road today and will no doubt be hoping for a quieter match than Wednesday's Premiership encounter between Aberdeen and Rangers, in which he sent two players off and awarded two penalties.

  11. High winds in the eastpublished at 14:13 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

It's kinda blowy out there... Storm Erik is fading but there are still gusts of 40 mph forecast for Edinburgh over the next couple of hours, which could make for some hairy moments for defenders at Easter Road.

  12. Delay at Easter Road?published at 14:09 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

    Hibernian v Raith Rovers

The turnstiles for the away stand are not yet open after an "ongoing incident", says BBC reporter Brian McLauchlin.

Raith Rovers are bringing a healthy crowd with them across the Firth of Forth, so hopefully they all get in safely by kick-off time.

  13. And the answer is...published at 14:07 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

Yes, that's right, Raith Rovers have never won the Scottish Cup.
