Half an hour to go. It's a bit flat right now.

Kyle Lafferty is busy warming up. Can the big Northern Irishman add more menace to the Rangers attack?

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers

Kilmarnock don't waste any time making a change and former Rangers striker Kris Boyd is the man taking over from midfielder powerhouse Alan Power.

Ross McCrorie is on his feet, followed by Alan Power but the Killie midfielder looks dazed and I'm not sure he'll be able to continue.

Ross McCrorie is in the wars again. This time he's involved in a sickening clash of heads with Alan Power.

This one looks really nasty, with both men floored.

Ross McCrorie is having a tough time of it as Chris Burke bundles the Rangers youngster to the ground with a push from behind.

Ross McCrorie takes a knock after a bang from Gary Dicker. Scott Arfield is looking for play to stop but Dicker is having none of it and puts a foot in to steal the ball. Andy Halliday eventually knocks it out for McCrorie to receive treatment.

  8. May pleased with Hibs goalspublished at 18:17 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

    FT: Hibernian 3-1 Raith Rovers

Hibernian caretaker manager Eddie May: "The boys were at a decent standard, scored some very good goals and should've probably had a little bit more.

"The chances we created was very pleasing.

"Raith are going very well in their own league so they're always going to have spells in the game, we just have to combat that and I thought we did that extremely well."

  9. Raith Rovers 'didn't crumble' - McGlynnpublished at 18:16 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

    FT: Hibernian 3-1 Raith Rovers

Raith Rovers manager John McGlynn: "We've rallied round the second half. We got a goal back.

"As a team we didn't crumble, we stuck together. They didn't necessarily get round us and behind us and open us up.

"When you're the underdog you need the big team to play not so well, you need a flat performance. I thought Hibs played well."

That goal-line clearance must surely count as a shot on target for Kilmarnock? The last touch did come off a Rangers player and the stats boffins are sticklers...

  11. Kearney laments 'embarrassing' first-halfpublished at 18:14 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

FT: St Mirren 1-2 Dundee United

St Mirren manager Oran Kearney tells BBC Scotland: "I asked players to learn from the last round and not give teams a head start. To be honest, our first half performance was terrible, it was embarrassing. Probably the worst since I've been here, but we rallied and the only credit I can give them is that in the second half we got the performance we wanted .

"The sending off gave us more of a catalyst but you can't do Roy of the Rovers in every round. The incident with Cammy Smith - I don’t think there was malice - I would have to watch it back again but don’t think there was intent there."

  12. Neilson enjoys 'great day' for Terrorspublished at 18:11 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

FT: St Mirren 1-2 Dundee United

Dundee United boss Robbie Neilson tells BBC Scotland: "We were fantastic in the first half and parts of the second half were exceptional. We stood firm and rode it out.

"Our sending off was definitely a red card, but the one before that was a disgrace and the referee saw it. McGinn takes Cammy Smith right out on the chin. The fourth official saw it, the referee saw it. I’m going to have a word with (referees' supervisor) John Fleming tonight.

"I’m delighted the way we controlled the game. When you’re down to 10 men its always going to be difficult but they never caused us any real problems. To a man, we were all good. We probably should have had more in the first half.

"It gives us momentum to kick on in the league and there were 1500 people behind us. A great day."

  13. 'The defensive side has been brilliant'published at 18:07 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

    HT: Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers

    Billy Dodds
    Former Scotland striker on Sportsound

Both teams have shown both sides to the game. Crisp passing at times, working it wide, good crosses, direct when they're forward, wide players getting the ball.

The defensive side has been brilliant as well, stopping crosses, not letting them put an easy ball in the box, getting to the right position if they do get crosses to get it clear, put pressure on them, get tackles in, although there's been no goals, it's been really good to watch.

  14. HALF-TIME Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangerspublished at 18:03 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2019

No goals but plenty to keep the fans entertained at Rugby Park.

Daniel Bachmann saved a penalty from Rangers captain James Tavernier, while Andy Halliday later saved the visitors' bacon with a goal-line clearance after an almighty penalty box scramble.

Both teams are working so hard to stop their opponents. Kilmarnock give very little space away, with Dicker dropping back to make it a back five

Gary Dicker gets his head to a deep Chris Burke free kick but can only steer the ball wide from near the penalty spot. It would need to be a seriously powerful nod to beat Allan McGregor from there.

Off the line from Andy Halliday as Kilmarnock have three or four mis-hit bites at the cherry from a corner. It seemed to spin off Rangers defender Joe Worrall before team-mate Halliday stepped in to hoof it away.

Up and over the defensive wall from James Tavernier but straight into the arms of Daniel Bachmann.
