    St Mirren 1-2 Dundee United

It's a frantic finish in Paisley and Osman Sow almost seals it for the visitors; collecting Pavol Safranko's pass and drilling a low shot which the goalkeeper has to tip round the post.

St Mirren have had plenty of pressure but no real clear-cut chances.

    St Mirren 1-2 Dundee United

There can be little doubt over Calum Butcher's earlier red card for Dundee United. Surely the Tannadice club won't be appealing against this one.

At the halfway line. No need. No need at all. And now his side are hanging on.

    Duckens Nazon

It's a deserved goal for St Mirren. It seemed to be a deflection off Duckens Nazon but he'll certainly be claiming it, and this cup tie is alive. Can 10-man Dundee United hang on?

    St Mirren 0-2 Dundee United

St Mirren substitute Simeone Jackson cuts the ball onto his right foot and takes aim, and it is not too far away from the top right hand corner.

This is a completely different St Mirren to the one that United dominated in the first half, but time is running out if they wish to be in Monday's draw for the last eight.

It's a decent header from Murray, good ball in to the near post, gets away from his man and bullets it in to the top corner. I think it's not much more than a consolation but it's given the 1700 Raith Rovers fans something to cheer about.
