Nii: Chelsea team news. Pulisic on the bench. Before the match, I know Chelsea fan will take a draw, but with this team news, they would even more.

Frank has made some big calls. Mason Mount did exceptionally well at Derby. It’s great to see Mount get a chance at Chelsea. We know he really rates him as a player, so it's really exciting.

There is nobody who knows Chelsea the way Frank does and I think that is vital for them this season. The interesting thing to see will be whether, when he is on the touchline, he will know what to do when things don't go the right way.

Former England defender Micah Richards on new Chelsea manager Frank Lampard: "He was very humble and shy in the dressing room but he also showed hard work and application. He was always the last person out on training pitch. He's genuinely a nice guy and I think it will work out for him at Chelsea."

Sulaimon Adelekan: A big day. Frank Lampard makes his Premier league coaching debut. Manchester United and Chelsea fixture makes it a delirious return.

Harvey Balderstone: As a Chelsea fan I just hope we at least finish inside the top 6 , seeing all these predictions has me very angry.

Joe Wormall: Man U midfield could be the downfall - Pogba not interested Mctominay over rated Matic past his best Ole won't last.

Their careers may have overlapped by six years but Frank Lampard and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer only played against each other six times for Chelsea and Manchester United.

Neatly, the overall score was two wins each and a couple of draws. Lampard won the last - the 2007 FA Cup final - but he also won the first, 3-0 at Old Trafford.

Solskjaer got his revenge by the same score a few months later.

On his day he’s great and then the week after you’ll want to get him off the pitch. Fans love that here in Newcastle. Newcastle 0-1 Arsenal

Arsenal matchwinner Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on whether it was a deserved win: "I think so, we fought today a lot. It was a great game against a good team. It was important to start with a win, last season we started bad, so we are happy.

"It is always positive for all the squad to win the first game, everyone is happy to get three points and we're looking forward to winning more games."

On whether he is thinking about the golden boot: "Of course it is in the mind of a striker but first of all the team is the most important. I'm really pleased the goal helped us win the game."

Bob Moss: Seems we are back to boring, boring Arsenal. However can't argue if they keep winning.

Aubameyang is a very, very good player. He is when he's scoring goals. The rest of his game is very, very average.

David Jarvis: Not got a clue what formation we're playing at the moment and we don't even look as though we're trying to get an equaliser. Welcome to life under Steve Bruce.

Why did Bruce take Shelvey off? Our only truly creative player who could have picked out one of our front three has been removed and now we have no chance of creating chances. Just don't understand it.
