Granit Xhaka invites a foul near the Newcastle corner flag and isn't in a hurry to get up. Textbook 'professionalism'.

    Tick tock...

Still Newcastle push and probe as we head into stoppage time... Allan Saint-Maximin twists and turns but can't find a way past Matteo Guendouzi.

Instead he goes back to Jetro Willems, who cross is met by Fabian Schar. Not enough on it.

Strong defending from Arsenal, they are just going to run the clock down. You cannot say that they have played how you would expect Arsenal to play but they have grinded a result today. They will be pleased with that.

Zlatan. Rooney. Ronaldinho. Some of the great overhead kicks.

Jonny Evans tries to put his name among them. Doesn't come off.

Heading towards injury time. Four of that to come...

Is there going to be a winner?

    Newcastle 0-1 Arsenal

Any man with bleach-blond dreadlocks and wearing a karate-style headband has got to ooze flair.

Allan Saint-Maximin is not disappointing so far. The flamboyant Frenchman jinks in from the left, shooting low and forcing Bernd Leno into a low save.

Promising. Have Newcastle got one last big chance in them?

LEICESTER HAVE HAD A SHOT ON TARGET!

Only taken them 83 minutes. Sub Harvey Barnes is the one who manages to make Rui Patricio work, although it is a routine save for the Wolves keeper.

Chris Emeka Ibekwe: I still don't see Arsenal finishing in the top 4 this season.

Ryan Segal: Aubameyang is one of the most composed finishers in Europe. Luiz is one of the most erratic defenders in Europe. I'm looking forward to watching Arsenal this season.

Talking of Ayoze Perez, he's just gone off at the King Power. A warm round of applause for the Spaniard, who didn't really make much of an impact on his debut.

Marc Albrighton - that stalwart of the title-winning campaign - replaces him and immediately drags a shot wide.

Newcastle would rather those by two and have a go - but they're not able to break down Arsenal at the moment.

Not much going on in the Rondon/Perez-less final third.

Another minute, another new arrival of whom great things are expected.

Wolves raised a few eyebrows when they managed to convince young Italy striker Patrick Cutrone to swap Milan for Molineux in a £16m deal.

Who needs the Duomo when you've got the Civic?

    Anyway, he's on.

Newcastle being forced to defend. You cannot fault their desire but I think there have been better performances in black and white. Quality in the final third - they have not shown it today.

KeyUTD: What a confident goal by Aubameyang. He stays fit and he will be up with the leading scorers again this year.

Ryan Flint: NUFC have barely entered AFC's box in an hour. Come on! Add some excitement to the greatest league in the world! They'll probably win 3-1 now knowing my luck..

    Here come the new faces.

Arsenal's on-loan Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos is introduced in place of Joe Willock, with Newcastle's £16.5m signing Allan Saint-Maximin following him onto the pitch shortly after.

But here's why it has been disallowed...
