Sheffield United went after Liverpool early doors and tried to press high up the pitch. It looked as if that was the game plan, but Liverpool scored early and that negativity seemed to creep in as it often does when teams go a goal down early at Anfield - they fear the worst and don't want to be on the end of a hiding away from home. I still think they are a very well organised team and Chris Wilder will take many positives out of the game.

Liverpool are enjoying themselves now.

Georginio Wijnaldum nut-megs a defender while slipping it left to Andy Robertson, who then plays a swift one-two with Sadio Mane which carves open the defence.

Mane looks like he's going to fire in a cross but he tries to catch Dean Henderson out at the near post. It's just about bundled away.

Oliver McBurnie leads an attack down the right for Sheffield United but the ball in is too heavy and Billy Sharp has to sprint to keep it from going out for a throw-in.

He ends up jumping over the hoardings and into the Liverpool crowd to stop himself from crashing into them.

It's about the pass from Mohamed Salah. Can he find Mane with a weighted pass? Can Mane stay onside? He does stay onside and the timing of the run is quite brilliant from Sadio Mane. It's the goal that Liverpool needed as the game had gone flat.
