    The Newcastle boss names a strong side which includes defender Jamaal Lascelles for the first time since suffering a knee injury on 9 November.

    Matt Ritchie is making his first start since 28 August.

    Miguel Almiron, who scored in the 1-1 draw at Rochdale on 4 January, again starts.

    Forty-year-old Aaron Wilbraham, who came off the substitutes bench to score Rochdale's equaliser against Newcastle at Spotland, starts at St James' Park.

    Seventeen-year-old Luke Matheson, who set up Wilbraham's equaliser after coming on as a sub, also starts.

    Rhys Norrington-Davies returns from injury in place of Kwadwo Baah while Oliver Rathbone, who was influential in the first game, is not involved.

    The winner of the replay will play away at Southampton in the fourth round.

    Middlesbrough took the lead against Spurs on 5 January through Ashley Fletcher, before Lucas Moura's equaliser sent the tie to a replay.

    Tranmere have put out a lengthy statement, external which basically says that it's not their fault that tonight's game off and nothing could be done about it.

    If it rains, pitches get wet don't they?

    "In order to give us the best chance of getting the Watford game on, we also hired in an additional specialist pitch covering which allows air to circulate underneath it to dry the pitch. Unfortunately, even this was not enough in the face of Storm Brendan."

    Tranmere's FA Cup third-round replay at home to Watford has been postponed due to heavy rainfall.

    Liverpool Women's match against Manchester United at Tranmere's Prenton Park home was postponed on Sunday and further bad weather is forecast throughout Tuesday.

    The first game between the clubs ended in a thrilling draw as the League One side fought back from 3-0 down.
