Lovely, crunching tackle in the centre circle from Billy Gilmour. The crowd enjoyed that.

Big chance.
Antonio Rudiger was close to getting on the end of the flick on and Liverpool get lucky.
Chelsea 0-0 Liverpool
First attack for Chelsea and it's a good one, a big diagonal ball plays in Pedro down the left and Neco Williams does well to make a tackle.
From the corner Cesar Azpilicueta flashes a header across goal and it's very close to both going in and finding a team-mate.

Too many mistakes from Chelsea's defensive line and Liverpool's frontline won't be as forgiving if that keeps happening.
Chelsea just need to settle down, especially defensively. They need to stop making mistakes on the ball.

West Brom v Newcastle (20:00 GMT)
There's still a few minutes until kick-off at The Hawthorns and Newcastle fans have travelled in their thousands to the Black Country.
It's a nippy night but there's a few brave members of the Toon Army who have arrived shirtless.
Chelsea 0-0 Liverpool
First save needed from Kepa Arrizabalaga! All self inflicted too as Antonio Rudiger hits the ball into the back of Takumi Minamino, he stes Andy Robertson clear down the left and his cross is hit on goal by Sadio Mane.
It's straight at Kepa, who fumbles it a bit and then gathers in. Liverpool pressing Chelsea high and hard.
Chelsea 0-0 Liverpool
Divock Origi on the left of the front three for Liverpool tonight and he nearly has an early header.
We are firmly in the era of first-named leaders aren't we now. Boris, Brendan, Frank.

It tells you lot about what Frank thinks of Billy Gilmour to chuck him into a game of this magnitude.

Away we go!
Happy to be fourth or should be comfortably second?!

Frank Lampard is searching and desperate for this Chelsea side to do well, he must be so frustrated.
Everytime I look at the Premier League table, it stuns me that Chelsea are fourth, they should comfortably be in second.
It is a bizarre one and if they can turn over this strong Liverpool side, it will give them momentum for the rest of the season.

Here come the sides - light shows, fireworks, liquidator. All going off.

Former Chelsea and Liverpool defender on BBC One
I think Frank has done well overall. They weren't in the greatest position when he took over and they've had a transfer ban. They were in a better position a few weeks ago and have dropped a few points since, but they would have taken this at the start of the season.
I think Chelsea will come firing out of the blocks tonight and I think they could get this done.
I'm pretty sure Kevin Phillips scored every single time I went to a game he was playing in. And that was at least 15-20 times.
For Southampton, West Brom, Birmingham...
West Brom v Newcastle (20:00 GMT)
BBC Radio 5 Live
Former West Brom striker Kevin Phillips: "From West Brom's point of view, they are siting comfortably at the top of the Championship. They won't win every game but for these players it is a welcome break from the league and a chance for the fringe players to get some game time until the run-in.
"For Newcastle, survival in the Premier League is key for the club and they have made changes but hopefully there can be some reward for both teams.
"That front four for Newcastle, Steve Bruce will be expecting goals. They have pace and energy and it is an opportunity for Joelinton to get off and running."
I mean Liverpool have made seven changes. Does that qualify as naming a strong team these days?

Ged, Manchester: Good to see Liverpool putting out a strong team. Even as a Man City fan I can admit it makes the Cup feel more valuable.

Alan Shearer
Former Newcastle and England striker on BBC One
This should be a brilliant game. With Frank's history in this competition and the result in the Champions League last week, they are not coming back from that.
Great teams bounce back after a defeat which is what Liverpool have to do. That is probably why Klopp has gone as strong as he has.
