    Aaron Connolly is then fed through and he has a brief opportunity to shoot but doesn't take it which allows Joe Gomez to come across and get the tackle in.

    From the resulting corner, Alisson flaps at it and it flies dangerously past Lewis Dunk!

    It's a wonderful ball from Naby Keita - the weight, pace and direction of it was perfect as Mohamed Salah is able to gather it within his stride.

    He races through, cuts across so he's a few yards out but can't beat Mat Ryan, under pressure from the keeper and the defender.

    They are playing some good stuff, Brighton. I've been impressed with them tonight .

    The two goals of course came from overplaying at the back but they've recovered and they have been a joy to watch.

    They've made a good start to the second half.

    Up the other end, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gets the better of Lamptey and plays a dangerous ball in towards the near post. Roberto Firmino can't quite get there and Mat Ryan gathers it in.
