Neat work again down the left from West Brom. Callum Robinson can't quite get on the end of a throughball after Allan had been caught napping.

Disagree(12:45) Noble probably will have loved seeing Grady do well. As with most Hammers fans. Board are the only ones that will have not wanted this.

    Dominic Calvert-Lewin

    It's given!

The touch off the defender means the offside is ruled out. Brilliant reactions from Dominic Calvert-Lewin. That's two in two for him.

  4. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 32 mins

    Everton 0-1 West Brom

Seamus Coleman has had a good game. It's his cross from the right which causes problems.

Richarlison doesn't quite make contact with the header. It bounces off a defender and into the path of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

He's got his back to goal and flicks it in off his heel. It's ruled out for offside but VAR are checking this...

Grady Diangana has been directly involved in five goals in his last eight league appearances for West Brom, scoring four.

    Good spell from Everton...

Lucas Digne's corner - the third in a matter of minutes - is headed over the bar from Michael Keane.

    Everton 0-1 West Brom

Jake Livermore does his job at the back to block Seamus Coleman's effort after Andre Gomes did well to beat two defenders on the edge of the box.

Another cross is flicked on dangerously from the corner before Richarlison's effort is deflected wide. Dara O'Shea then clears the next corner.

Ian Marks: Maybe Everton weren't actually that good last week. Maybe Spurs were just that bad?

Kieran Gibbs is linking up nicely with Grady Diangana down the left but the goalscorer leaves him a little short with the pass back.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin steps inside to intercept and gets a clap off the manager.

Everton work it over to the left but Richarlison can't control his shot from a tight angle and it skews out for a goal kick.

Mohammed Kothia: Mark Noble was right. Diangana will be a star at West Brom. What were @davidgold & @jsullivanwhu & co thinking? Crazy decision. No long term planning whatsoever.

Diangana looks a talent! Noble's comments completely justified. Can someone point out to Gareth Southgate that Diangana and Saka are both left footed and can play for England....

Carlo Ancelotti is animated. Everton are all over the shop in defence. They look like they have a goal in them though.

    West Brom are playing well.

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 23 mins

    Everton 0-1 West Brom

    This would have been something!

It's superb build-up play from West Brom and Matheus Pereira is at the centre of it. It's floated in from the right and Callum Robinson was scrambling to reach the header.

It looks like he's going to get in the way but he ends up flicking it on to Jake Livermore, who reacts in a split second to chest it down and volley it towards Jordan Pickford's right post.

The keeper was beaten but it crashes off the woodwork.

  14. Postpublished at 21 mins

Kieran Gibbs concedes a corner on the right and James Rodriguez curls another delivery in.

It's headed away and out for a throw-in on the far side.

Jon Evans: Everton games might be quite exciting this season. Strengthened the attack well but not done anything with a vulnerable defence. Wouldn't be surprised to see some high scoring games

Callum Robinson tests Jordan Pickford from long range. This time the Everton keeper punches it away to his right.

West Brom are going to shoot on sight. Pickford has been a mistake waiting to happen since kick-off.

Lucas Digne and Andre Gomes are busy down the left. It's worked back into the middle to Allan, who drills it low towards goal.

It's comfortable for Sam Johnstone in the end.

  20. CLOSE!published at 16 mins

    Everton 0-1 West Brom

Lucas Digne cuts it back after a nice run on the left but it's just out of reach of Richarlison.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin reacts, swivels and squeezes a shot in. It's heading towards the near post but is deflected inches wide for a corner.
