Michy Batshuayi comes on for Jordan Ayew up front for Palace. Can Palace see this out? Not that that's a change with seeing things out in mind.

    Donny van de Beek

    Debut goal.

Palace can't clear a United cross, Cheikhou Kouyate and Joel Ward got in each others way, and Donny van de Beek very calmy slots a shot into the bottom corner.

    Game on.

David de Gea has failed to save the last 18 penalties that he has faced in the Premier League (because that one doesn't count), last saving one from the spot in October 2014 against Everton.

Don't add Gareth Bale to your fantasy football teams yet.

Spurs have confirmed he will not be fit to make his debut until after the international break next month. He suffered a knee injury on Wales duty last time.

They have also announced he will wear the number nine shirt.

As a lifelong Utd fan I'm starting to tire of the lack of activity in transfer windows. A lone Fernandes isn't good enough. They need to follow the example of the women's team who have managed to sign not 1 but 2 World Cup winners!!!

That decision may be controversial but it is absolutely in line with how the Premier League have been told to apply the law by Fifa this season.

The keeper has to have a foot on the line - on the ground - otherwise the spot kick gets taken again.

    Wilfried Zaha

This time Wilfried Zaha takes it... and scores.

This has not been very good at all by Manchester United.

Now it is new signing Donny van der Beek's turn to make his debut.

In fairness, Paul Pogba has been disappointing - but it could have been anyone.

Wilfried Zaha has the ball in the back of the net - but it won't count. Jordan Ayew steps past a defender and then slips the ball through to Zaha who rifles the ball into the roof of the net.

We get these late offside decisions now so the flag goes up after the goal. It was a clear offside really.
