It was always going to be difficult to come here and play Stoke and it's been the classic cold and windy night here but they've handled the conditions well. Spurs scored a good goal, good ball in from Harry Winks and good header from Gareth Bale but Stoke had a game plan and it's gone according to plan but obviously they've conceded so now they need to come out in the second half and try and get an equaliser.

If Spurs get a second goal then it's tie over.

Nope, Gareth Bale can only flick the top of the wall with the free-kick.

His header separates the sides. Stoke with work to do.

A really good save, and it could end up a crucial one! Harry Kane drops deep into the pocket and picks up the ball in space and frees Dele Alli with a nice pass.

Alli times his run perfectly, hits it left-footed across Andy Lonergan but he kicks out and saves with his feet.

Defender Morgan Fox can't carry on, looked like a hamstring or thigh problem, and I like this as a change from Stoke.

It's striker Steven Fletcher who comes on as they have a rejig. Got to carry more of a threat somehow.

A glimpse of Rory Delap in the Stoke dugout - get him on for the second half. Stoke may have an injury to worry about as Morgan Fox needs treatment. The punishing schedule taking hold again?

Andy Lonergan comes for a corner, can't get there, and Dele Alli is very close to turning it in at the far post. A second goal before the break may sort this one out.

Those runs from right to in are causing Stoke issues now as Dele Alli almost sends Gareth Bale in once more.

Great ball from Harry Winks, his ball makes it. He's actually looking for Matt Doherty but he under-hits the cross and the whip of the ball, Gareth Bale just flicks it and Andy Lonergan can't get there. It's a good header, intelligent header. He just glances it on and to be honest I think the wind has made a difference there.
