It's always an unknown how youngsters will cope at such a high level of the game. Rhys Williams' years at the academy has given him good fundamentals, he's a good defender. He was on loan at Kidderminster last year and he had a lot of tools from academy football, but playing at a team like that will give you more game time and probably toughen you up a bit.
Injuries have accelerated his involvement with the first team. I'd like to think he can take it in his stride. There are some fantastic professionals in that Liverpool team who will make him feel more comfortable. Players like Jordan Henderson and James Milner, they will be getting around him and making sure he feels like he's part of it. But when young lads are thrown in and haven't played at this level before you're never sure until you see it, but I think he should do absolutely fine.
FT: Marseille 0-3 Man City
Marseille boss Andre Villas-Boas: “It was a tough match to play and we paid for our mistakes.
"We didn’t defend too deep and my players were exceptional. We were never going to play against City in a 3-4-3 or a midfield diamond. I think they are used to coming up against five at the back.
“The second goal was a real blow for us as we were starting to turn things around. In the first half, we had trouble getting through the City press, and a bad pass led to them being 1-0 up."

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp talking to BT Sport: "It was a tough night. It's a bit like in a marriage, there are good and bad times. It's not a bad time but it's a tricky time. 100% we have to stick together and fight harder and that's what the boys did tonight. Losing Fabinho in the first half, Rhys Williams he's only 19-years old and I think he's played more Champions League games than Premier League games - that's rare. We're doing really well but its a shock for a team because now we have to sort that injury.
"We had to make the change at half time with Jordan Henderson - he said I'm fine but in these moments you have to be responsible and the plan before the game was to give him around 45 minutes so he would be okay for West Ham. It was a hard game to play. But winning 2-0 is completely fine so that's it - let's carry on."
On Fabinho injury: "Exactly the last thing we needed. I don't know, he felt his hamstring so that's not good. He didn't feel it that much he said he could've played on but not sprinting so that doesn't help. We will see, we will have to do a scan and see but clearly it's not good."
It really is Zizou, it really is.

Real Madrid
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane: "We didn't think it was going to be a drama. The team has shown reaction.
"It is an important point. We know that by playing like this we will get things done, the players have fought to the end. It's going to be a difficult year for all of us, but today we have to be proud "
Marseille 0-3 Manchester City
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola talking to BT Sport: "We played really well, we didn't concede much and we were in control, patient and aggressive without the ball. I'm so satisfied with the performance and result, it's always difficult to win away.
"We can play on both sides, we tried to play high and wide to stretch the pitch. Raheem Sterling was exceptional, Phil [Foden] as well. We didn't expect them to play five at the back until we saw the team. Porto was the same. As much as we play against five at the back we started to take the control and rhythm.
"We were so stable defensively. Aymeric [Laporte] was good, Kyle [Walker] is in the best form since we've been together, Oleksandr [Zinchenko] helped us, John [Stones] played good minutes. I'm so satisfied with the way we played."
Has the criticism been unfair? "We have to accept the criticism. We play every three days, when you win it's good but if you don't people want to destroy everything. But it's about the chairman and everyone else understanding. Part of the criticism was right, but you've got to accept it. It's part of our job. It's about where we've come from in the last month, with lack of preparation, injuries and Covid-19 but the Champions League is in a good place now. I'm sure we're going to find that consistency."

Some news that happened while we were on air - Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has resigned under increasing pressure, but said he had accepted proposals for the club to join a European Super League.
Fans had been trying to remove Bartomeu , who became president in 2014 and had fallen out with Lionel Messi.
He stood down on Tuesday, along with the entire board of directors.
In a leaving speech Bartomeu said Barca had begun proceedings to join a Super League to help its financial future.

Bizarrely, given their history in the cup, Liverpool have won their opening two group matches of a Champions League campaign for just the second time, after 2008-09. For the first time they start a CL campaign with two clean sheets.

We've already said that Liverpool and Manchester City top their respective groups but here it is in visual form for you.
Both sides are well placed already and wins against Atalanta and Olympiakos respectively next week will practically put one and a half feet in the knockout stage.

Liverpool forward Diogo Jota on BT Sport: "It was massive. After a good away win in Porto we did our job, got three points which is the most important thing.
"[Scored the club's 10,000th goal] It's a stat, I'm happy to score and achieving that mark is a good thing. Trent put in a great delivery and you just have to be ready for it.
"Everyone in the squad knows they can be important, we all need to be ready and unfortunately injuries can happen."
It's normally the tightest league in the world but Reading are SEVEN points clear at the top of the Championship!

Piece of cake for Manchester City, they started with the right attitude and closed the opposition down. Marseille couldn't lay a glove on City. In the second half, a goal down, the players were smiling, that tells you something. They didn't believe at any point tonight - watching the way they played they were probably right not to believe. City were miles ahead and 3-0 was the least they deserved. The game back at the Etihad, well that could be anything.
Here are how the four other 20:00 GMT games finished:
Real Madrid's late equaliser means they avoid losing a fourth consecutive Champions League game after losing last week to Shakhtar Donetsk and both legs of last season's last 16 tie against Manchester City.

Real Madrid get out of Champions League jail! They lost last week and were 2-0 down with three minutes to go. Casemiro has pulled them out of the fire.
