Will it be Villarreal or Arsenal who United meet in Gdansk on 26 May?

Whoever it is, let's hope the final is as rich in entertainment as this semi has been.

That's what he's there for - it's a great ball in from Hector Bellerin with height and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's last touch in this game could've been the goal that sent them into the final before he's substituted. He's had the opportunity, but you've got to score he's six yards out. Mikel Arteta is more disappointed than anyone - the game was right there.

Hector Bellerin whips in a delightful cross from the right and the Arsenal captain meets it at the back post. The goalkeeper is beaten but it strikes the post and is booted clear. Unbelievable.

This is the start of a busy few days for United. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made two more changes.

Nemanja Matic and Marcus Rashford have been sent on to see this out. Paul Pogba and Cavani have made way.

Carlos Bacca has replaced Paco Alcacer for Villarreal. A goal for the visitors now could very well prove decisive. Time is ticking away for the Gunners.

Bukayo Saka continues to prove a nuisance and earns a free-kick for Arsenal near the byline.

This is outstanding entertainment. Roma and Manchester United should be ordered to play one another every season.

Blimey. Arsenal have made a couple of questionable passes at the back tonight and this time Bernd Leno's heavy touch almost sets up a tap-in, but luckily the German recovers swiftly.

The pressure's building because Arsenal aren't engaging in the midfield, they're just sitting back and waiting for mistakes to be made by Villarreal but that's not happening - their passing is sharp and the runs are crisp and they're getting in dangerous positions.

Just looking at Mikel Arteta, he's trying to beckon the players forward to pressure the ball to the back four and the mid-field - I don't know if Arsenal think the scoreboard is broken or what but they need a goal.

This is fabulously entertaining if a little unnerving.

Big chances at both ends. Roma refusing to go quietly. Eleven goals between the teams. Another 20 minutes or so still to go.

One goal. Just one goal, that's all Arsenal need.

They have less than 25 minutes to find it.

Villarreal earn a corner midway through the second half but it's defended well.

This is a bit ridiculous from Manchester United.

After conceding two goals in next to no time, David de Gea has just made three fabulous saves.

If United concede another one the nerves are going to really start jangling.

What's going on?

United are having a wobble as Edin Dzeko latches onto a neat pass and hits it towards the top corner but De Gea is there to claw it away.

Then Henrikh Mkhitaryan goes close to scoring as United's defence goes AWOL.
