If there's any Burnley fans listening, which there may not be many any more, this is torture to watch.

They are being torn to shreds.

Manchester City are hungry and vicious.

    The massacre continues.

Kevin de Bruyne fizzzes it across the six yard area and it comes off Bailey Peacock-Farrell before agonisingly crossing the line.

An own goal for the Clarets keeper?

With respect...Tim's comment referring to the stay as agricultural and suggesting no one will miss Burnley doesn't sound very respectful at all.

    Stew, Leicester

To Tim at 16:13. I wonder who you support with a statement like that? Burnley are playing the way their finance allows - one which has enabled them to survive instead of playing expansive football, rather than being relegated and being in debt.

Briliant goal again. It's a little bit training ground and Phil Foden, who has only just come on - he's lively, he's sharp.

His cross into the middle to the back post is utter genius. Riyad Mahrez comes in and he almost can't miss from there.

    They've done it again.

    Riyad Mahrez

    Bloodbath!

Phil Foden's first touch is to deliver a cross which tees up Riyad Mahrez for his hat-trick.

    That was a ferocious header.

What a day to remember for Mahrez. Superb performance.

    Pat Nevin

Well done Ferran Toorres, who is coming off now!

He gets on the end of that but it is mostly down to Kyle Walker. Two or three occasions now he has turned on the after-burner in this game.

Torres made no mistake when it finally came in there but that was magnificent from Walker.

    Ferran Torres

Ferran Torres scores with his last touch of the game.

Another lovely move by City as Burnley are undone by the pace of the attack before Gabriel Jesus lays it off to Ferran Torres to plant it past Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

Kyle Walker was heavily involved it the move.

He hardly has time to celebrate as he is replaced by Phil Foden.

As a Burnley fan I don't appreciate terms like 'agricultural' and 'not belonging'. We're where we are on merit, and seasons are not defined by games against Man City.

    David in Cornwall

City scoring more first half goals than Burnley have in total. That's what happens when you can spend millions and millions and millions more on players!

    Anonymous

City have probably also spent more on full backs than Burnley have on their entire squad in that time. Difficult to compare apples with very expensive apples.

    That's more like it!

Burnley have come to life this half and Jay Rodriguez forces Ederson into his first save of the game. Was it a shot? Or was it a cross?

Moments later the Clarets win a free-kick which is deflected wide for a corner.

It was good to see Benjamin Mendy in the first half, overlapping well. When he first came to City he was incredible at that.

But the other night in the Champions League we didn't see it that much.

With respect, it's about time Burnley's agricultural stay in the Premier League came to an end. Would fans of any other top-flight teams miss them?
