Spurs manager Jose Mourinho turned on his heel in disgust and walked down the tunnel at half time. Liverpool deserve that advantage but such a soft goal for Spurs to concede.

It seemed that between them Eric Dier and Hugo Lloris conspired to make that very easy for Roberto Firmino by doing precisely nothing.

And that's the break.

Liverpool's first Premier League goal of 2021 has them in front.

Into added time in the first half. Liverpool still looking for that opening but Trent Alexander-Arnold's chip is nodded away by Eric Dier.

Liverpool quicken the pace and Sadio Mane finds just enough space to get a shot off as he sprints into the area. It stings the palms of Lloris but the Spurs captain is well behind it.

Carlos Vinicius is one of the Spurs substitutes warming up. But Harry Kane wants to come back on. Kane immediately clips a ball over the top for Son Heung-min but Alisson is out quickly to gather. Just scooped that up before running out of his box.

Oooh. Another good run from Sadio Mane and he almost latches on to a diagonal ball over the top, but Eric Dier gets across well inside the box.

Dier goes down, and now Harry Kane is down in the Liverpool half needing treatment again.

Could be the ankle he hurt earlier. That's a big concern for Tottenham.
