  1. 'We had to dig in'published at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2021

    FT: Aston Villa 1-2 Leicester

    Leicester City

Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans: "Especially second half we had to dig in to keep the score at 2-1, it was our fault as well - we made a bad start to the second half. We have to learn.

"We understand each other very well. We are trying to improve, the guys at the back are doing a geat job as well.

"There is a long way to go, we are in three competitions so we have to manage that. Hopefully we get the results."

    I thought Leicester defended brilliantly.

They showed two sides of their game for me today - first half their attacking prowess and second half their defensive quality.

  3. 'I believe we can beat them'published at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2021

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta speaking to Sky Sports: "We have some players who have struggled to recover and train in the last few days.

"I want to be positive and I believe we can beat them. When they play without a real number nine and the freedom they have, to create situations against them, becomes really difficult."

There was improvement from Aston Villa in the second half, but any team in the Premier League, I don't care who you are, you're going to miss Jack Grealish. He's one of those players, he's exciting and he'll produce that bit of magic.

Villa just have to stick at it and other players will have to step up to the mark - Ross Barkley in particular.

  6. 'I've added goals to my game'published at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2021

    FT: Aston Villa 1-2 Leicester

    Leicester City

Leicester forward Harvey Barnes, speaking to Sky Sports: "We got a two-goal lead which was important, but we're disappointed to concede so early in the second half. We knew it was going to be tough after that, but we held on well.

"We knew they'd be up for it, so we knew we'd have to start fast. It was part of our game plan. We knew if we'd get shots in and around the box we'd have a chance.

"We're in a similar position to last season but of course we've had a lot of injuries. If we can maintain this form we'll give ourselves the best possible chance."

On his recent goals record: "It's important for me and all attacking players. I've added goals to my game and I'm really happy with that. It's down to confidence. We're playing really attacking football and I feel I'm a really big part of that.

"I'm quick, so being direct is one of my main attributes. If you can do that, you can put defenders under pressure."

Arsenal v Manchester City (16:30 GMT)

Manchester City are unbeaten in the past 10 Premier League meetings, scoring at least twice in nine of those games.

Arsenal have lost seven successive league matches against City, failing to score in their last three at home.

The Gunners could fail to score in four consecutive home league games against the same opponent for the first time in their history.

Mikel Arteta is the man for the job, but the Arsenal fans are going to have to be patient. It's going to take three or four transfer windows to get where they need to be.

The foundations are there and it's looking decent but they are going to have to build on that. They have to be doing better than mid-table.

Leicester were good value for the points, but all the damage was done in the first half. It's tough to come from two goals down against a good team like Leicester - who are good defensively and on the counter.

Thanks Tom, good job as always.

Another good game to follow hopefully. Kieran Tierney and Kevin de Bruyne both back, along with Sergio Aguero on the bench.

Arsenal have a chance to overtake Tottenham, while Man City will hope to move 10 points clear of Leicester again.
