  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 60 mins

    Aston Villa 1-2 Leicester

Well that's just brilliant from Harvey Barnes! A long ball finds him running in from the left and he backheel flicks the ball over his head and into his run. He can't get there as Ahmed El Mohamady clips his heels and is booked. A few Leicester faces want a red card but it's only yellow!

The second half has been good - it has been end-to-end. The first half was all Leicester but Villa are coming back into it.

I think James Maddison is going to be fine. Good news.

    Aston Villa 1-2 Leicester

Since Bertrand Traore's first PL start for Villa in November, only Grealish (10) has been directly involved in more goals in the competition for the club than him (8 - five goals, three assists).

It's all a bit open and end-to-end at the moment. That could suit Leicester, give Jamie Vardy and Harvey Barnes some space to run into.

I don't understand what Kasper Schmeichel is complaining about - Leicester just don't deal with it.

It is a well-worked goal and it is game on now! Dean Smith would have said to score early to get themselves back into the game.

GOAL - Aston Villa 1-2 Leicesterpublished at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2021

    Bertrand Traore (48 mins)

Kasper Schmeichel is furious but the goal stands! Matt Targett puts in a cross from the left, John McGinn attacks it at the near post but ends up just helping the ball on.

Bertrand Traore is clear bang in the middle of the six-yard box and he bravely gets there before Schmeichel to thump the ball into the back of the net.

Not sure what the Leicester keeper was appealing for but the goal is given.

    Aston Villa 0-2 Leicester

Villa lost 49 of the last 50 Premier League matches they trailed by at least two goals at half time. The only exception in that run was a 2-2 draw at West Brom on 25 November 2013.

It would be some comeback from here. But hang on...

    FT: West Ham 2-1 Tottenham

    West Ham United

West Ham midfielder Jesse Lingard, speaking to BBC Sport: "I am really enjoying my football. The lads have taken to me really well. Today we had to graft for the three points and we showed what we are capable of.

"We had to start out of the blocks very quickly and put them under pressure.

"We know with VAR we have to wait for what the situation was. I don't know what they were checking. It is them moments that make the games and it made a little bit easier for us.

"I have been around a team winning trophies at Manchester United and I know about the winning mentality and what that can bring to the team.

"Here at West Ham we are a team that likes to play forward and on the front foot and press as well. It is consistency. That is where I have struggled in previous experiences. Hopefully I can keep that consistency.

"I have come here to play football. Football makes me happy and when we win."

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa boss Dean Smith told Sky Sports before the game:

“[Jack Grealish] has had some discomfort in training this week. At the end of the week we decided he wasn’t right to play.

“We don’t believe it’s a long-term injury, we’re just going to assess him as he goes.

"The injury is on his leg. It isn't a recurring injury.

“I’ve no idea [how long he’ll be out for]. I’m hopeful, I’m always an optimist.”

Leicester thoroughly deserve their lead - they've been the better team. They started on the front foot and Villa couldn't get going.

As soon as they got the first goal you felt it was just a matter of time before they got their second. Villa huffed and puffed without creating any clear cut chances. Dean Smith will be disappointed.
