I've been following United's Under 23s closely for years now. Shoretire is special. What a career he has ahead of him.

I'm going to say it out loud. One man team. Without Bruno, Man Utd are just an average outfit.

Newcastle played well in the first half, but their confidence has drained away since Daniel James' goal after 57 minutes.

This will be an eighth defeat in 10 Premier League games.

Nemanja Matic has been outstanding. He has been at the heart of everything that has been good and the tempo that Manchester United have played at.

I want to mention Luke Shaw too and his delivery. He has been outstanding too.

Caston: Newcastle are looking a bit lost and tired. They have spent all their energy in the first half.

Three points off the drop zone. Where are all the "Bruce is doing a great job" pundits now?

There are huge signs here today from Newcastle. When you reevaluate this game, and look at it, there are so many positives to take out of it, just lapses of concentration has cost them.

The difference in the game has just been the turn of quality that Manchester United have.

I think that has been the way that Manchester United have been for a lot of the season. When they haven't played that great they've still got players who can hurt you.

Steve: A penalty for Man Utd. There's something you don't hear very often.....not.

Francesca Gunn: It’s not a Man United game if Bruno doesn’t at least get an assist or a goal... or both!

Paul Collins: The contact for that penalty was minimal at best. If any at all. But it certainly didn't warrant falling down the way Rashford did.

It comes again from Nemanja Matic and the quality pass into the middle. He fizzes the pass in and Joe Willock knows straight away that it is a penalty.

It is an ice-cold penalty. I never expected Karl Darlow to get anywhere near it to be honest.
