James Ward-Prowse's delivery is good, Everton fail to clear it but get bodies in front of a number of attempted shots before it falls to Jannik Vestergaard on the edge of the six-yard box.

The big centre back pokes an effort at goal but Jordan Pickford does superbly to spread himself and keep Everton in front.

Andre Gomes is replaced by Alex Iwobi. It comes after Everton have half a chance in the Southampton box, but it just didn't quite fall for Richarlison.

That is really great play from Southampton - good tempo, great intent, real confidence in their play. They cut right through the heart of the Everton defence, and he should have at least hit the target. He let Jordan Pickford off the hook.

Ralph Hasenhuttl thought that was in. Arguably Southampton's best move of the match, and it deserved better from Moussa Djenepo.

That was the chance for Southampton.

It's a wonderful move, their best of the match, and the visitors find Moussa Djenepo coming on to the ball in space at the right of the box.

The winger has time to pick his spot but fires wide of the far post. Had to hit the target...

You'd have thought that Southampton have done enough to avoid relegation, but when you're on a run like this and you wonder where your next point is coming from and if this continues for another four or five games they could certainly be in trouble.

Everton have been comfortable. The way that they have set up in a number of away games this season is how they've set up in this half.

They've already got the goal advantage so they don't run out of position unnecessarily, or that leaves them exposed. They've been very comfortable at the back.

That's a lovely touch and turn from Danny Ings, he's got so much quality, but the Southampton forward slips while trying to look for a team-mate.

Southampton keep it alive and win a corner.

Does that count as a shot on target from Jordan Pickford as his clearance reaches Fraser Forster in the opposite penalty box.

Stuart Armstrong then goes down in the Everton half and it's another chance for James-Ward Prowse to deliver. It comes to nothing for the visitors.
