Michael Keane almost slips up with a loose touch just outside his own box though, and is forced to give away a corner.

Good work from Che Adams to win a corner off Ben Godfrey. James Ward-Prowse floats it to the penalty spot and it runs all the way through to Nathan Redmond, who looks to pick out the far corner but curls harmlessly wide.

Everton deal with James Ward-Prowse's delivery and Danny Ings is offside as the ball comes back into the Toffees' box. Slim pickings for the Saints striker today.

Everton have lost their last three home games, and while it's only a one-goal advantage there might be some nerves there and Southampton may be able to take a chance if it comes.

That is two brilliant pieces of defending from Southampton once again. It was the high-line again, they are continuing to do it, and Everton have started to get used to it. It was a brilliant, full-stretch header away by Jannik Vestergaard.

Moussa Djenepo catches Richarlison, might have just got a toe nail on the ball but it's an Everton free-kick that is floated into the box.
