    This is a great goal.

Brighton cut Southampton open right through the middle. Lallana finds Welbeck on the edge of the box and his first-time pass puts Trossard in on goal for a rising shot past Forster.

That is how you take a chance!

If Brighton are going to play wing-backs they have got to get them higher up the pitch, otherwise it becomes a five and they put themselves under more pressure.

But it looks better, more balanced for Brighton, the way they have set up in the second half.

Both of these sides are looking to attack. t is making for a good spectacle. Saints come down the left through Bertrand and when his cross is half-cleared, Ward-Prowse fires a low shot that Sanchez saves.

Che Adams goes down in the box after a little wrestling match with a Brighton player. Neither were able to get to Bertrand's cross. No penalty appeals from any home players, though.

Andi Zeqiri looks to have slotted in as a wing-back at the moment. Brighton have gone to a three. Joël Veltman has come across to play the left-hand side of a three, with Pascal Gross on the right-hand side at the moment.

Brighton start on the front foot but Trossard wastes a good opportunity to cross by floating his delivery straight into the hands of Forster.

BBC One missed the kick-off. It has happened, though, I promise.

Brighton have also made a change, sending on forward Andi Zeqiri for defender Dan Burn.

Graham Potter will want a little bit more from Brighton. I just sense their work needs to be that little bit sharper. They have had a lot of joy when they have just turned the ball in behind. Maybe they could do that a little bit more and catch Southampton with the high line that they play.

It was a great strike from Che Adams to get Southampton back in it. In those situations you have just got to whack it.

I am surprised by how good this game has been. Both sides have had chances and there have been some really good individual performances as well. Both teams are going for it.

It's been end to end. I think Southampton have shaded it. They have looked a bit sharper. But in terms of chances Brighton have had two good opportunities to get back in front, so an enthralling game at the moment

It's a great break from Brighton, but it's a poor finish. He's got to score there. He just slips. He's falling over as he goes to hit it. It's like he's panicked. It was a nothing finish, really.

    Southampton 1-1 Brighton

    Brighton's problems in a nutshell!

A sweeping attack ends with Dan Burn poking the ball to Pascal Gross in the box. He has all the time he needs but lacks conviction and fires in a poor, low shot that is deflected away from goal by Forster.

It is a glorious chance. He really should score from it.
