Into added time. Southampton will be three points above Burnley and a full 10 above the drop zone if they hang on.

There will be three more minutes to come...

  2. 'Can you see this ending well for Bruce? No'published at 13:48 British Summer Time 4 April 2021

    Newcastle v Tottenham (14:05 BST)

    Stephen Kelly
Former Tottenham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Newcastle's results have not been great, you can't get away from that, and managers' jobs are always on the line when the team isn't playing well. But there were some Newcastle fans that wanted Steve Bruce out before they'd even kicked a ball.

This season, it's not gone well for him. You can't make excuses but losing Callum Wilson was a massive injury, and they lost Miguel Almiron for a while as well. Can you see this ending well? No.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 86 mins

    Southampton 3-2 Burnley

Danny Ings hobbles off, just a kick to the ankle I think, and Che Adams is on for the last few minutes for Saints.

  4. 'Newcastle badly need a lift'published at 13:45 British Summer Time 4 April 2021

    Newcastle v Tottenham (14:05 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

Newcastle badly need a lift and a win but it is hard to see them getting either here. If fans were allowed into grounds then the Toon Army would be laying into the Magpies, and rightly so.

Tottenham have had their problems recently too, but they were decent in their win over Aston Villa last time out.

    Prediction: 0-2

Chris Wood was having his shirt pulled as he had that most recent header by the way. No real appeal or conversation about a penalty...

It's all Burnley now though. A sixth goal on the way?

It’s my wedding anniversary today and having a big party on the beach but sneaking off every 5 mins to get updates on here. What a game and my knees are getting trembly for the the FA cup semi. What a time to be alive!

You can't even look down at your notes, every time someone's in possession they have an attempt on goal. The defending's been awful, but we don't care!

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 80 mins

    Southampton 3-2 Burnley

Great chance again for Burnley! They have the momentum now, no doubt. Again it's Chris Wood, he's only six yards out but heads into the shins of Fraser Forster.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 80 mins

Matej Vydra, who has been a pest up front, is off and on comes Jay Rodriguez against his former club.

Southampton send on Mohammed Salisu for Stuart Armstrong.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 78 mins

    Southampton 3-2 Burnley

The good and the bad of Fraser Forster. First he has a bit of a mad charge out of his area to clear one away and then Chris Wood hits a fine, curling effort into the top corner and the giant custodian dives to his left and levers it away.

    Fine effort, fine save.

Judith Taylor: Tom, aren't you being a little previous with your Ken Wolstenholme statement? Surely the comeback is complete when the final whistle blows. Knowing Southampton this could end up 4-3 too Burnley.

Graham Green: I’m as delighted as any Saints fan would be after those three goals, but I’ve been around long enough (and especially this season) to know there’s still lots of time to throw this lead away.

    Southampton 3-2 Burnley

Burnley force a rare corner, it's headed out and Southampton have a three-on-two counter!

Theo Walcott is the ball carrier, he should release it away but doesn't want to use his left foot and tries to cut inside and he's tackled. Poor.

Kyle Walker-Peters now flashes a shot over the top. Southampton have really come out flying since they went 2-0 down. Can Burnley react at all?

The last time Southampton won a Premier League match after trailing by two goals was on 20 March 2016, when they defeated Liverpool 3-2 at home after trailing 2-0 at half-time.

Comeback complete! Another excellent goal you have to say.

Theo Walcott drives at Burnley and finds Danny Ings, his touch on the edge of the box is secure and he gets a shot off. Nick Pope makes a brilliant save but Walcott is there, picks up the rebound and stands up a cross to the back post.

It's not easy for Nathan Redmond, sort of hip-high, but he controls the volley down and in past a crowd of bodies in the goalmouth.

And now Theo Walcott is found inside the area but he can't beat Nick Pope. Southampton attacking with real intensity down both flanks. That's 18 shots on goal they've had now!

Stuart Armstrong has another pop from range, straight at Nick Pope this time. Burnley being penned in now.
