Chelsea boss Emma Hayes wants to get a message onto her team, so she scribbles it down onto a piece of paper and passes it to Millie Bright.

She hands it on to summer signing Aniek Nouwen, and she wins a big header, note still in hand.

I wonder what Hayes has seen?

The corner is worked into the near post for Fran Kirby and she looks to flick towards goal, but it is worked behind for a second corner, which is cleared.

Kirby is back in the action moments later and she sits Abbie McManus down, but Ashleigh Plumptre gets across to make an excellent covering tackle.

Emma Hayes has opted against the high press today and to just sit off a bit.

She’s probably seen that Leicester often make mistakes in midfield this season and is trying to capitalise that way.

Jonna Andersson does brilliantly on the left again, dropping the shoulder to get past the defender. Her cross is half blocked, but it falls for Fran Kirby, and her header is blocked wide for a corner.

Leicester left-back Jemma Purfield is the first player in the book as she is a little late to a challenge with Niamh Charles.

With the threat that Charles has caused so far Purfield is going to have to be very careful.

Molly Pike absolutely thuds into a tackle on Jessie Fleming and gets it spot on. Fleming had a look at the referee, but she's just told to get up.

What a chance.

Millie Bright dinks a ball over the top (think Phil Foden last night) and it is perfect for Fran Kirby, but her header is tame and Kirstie Levell gathers easily.

Chelsea have definitely worked on a particular move, and I presume what they deem a perceived weakness of Leicester, this week.

The ball from the centre-halves is consistently worked to the left-wing back Jonna Andersson and they look to isolate Niamh Charles, the right-wing back, against a defender on the far side.

The champions have done 58% of their attacking down their left wing so far.

The resulting free-kick is punted into the box by Drew Spence and it is met by Aniek Nouwen, but it is straight at Kirstie Levell.

Been a good game this.

Chelsea are linking up well at times but it’s not been consistent so far today.

Emma Hayes will be demanding more from her side.

Kirstie Levell looks to pass the ball out, but it is loose, and Fran Kirby sneaks in, but a wise, and let's say tactical, foul stops the England midfielder in her tracks.

Chelsea absolutely slaughtered Manchester United when they tried to play out from the back a couple of weekends ago, so if you're going to do it you need to get it bang on.

Chelsea skipper Magdalena Eriksson is caught on the ankle by Tash Flint as she looks to carry the ball out of defence.

The home crowd were baying for a card there, but the referee just has a little chat with Flint.

It was more clumsy than malicious.

Levell is a very experienced goalkeeper and it really was an exceptional save.

She managed to keep Leicester in the game. Leicester will grow in confidence the longer the game stays 0-0.

We've got a slightly delay as Leicester keeper Kirstie Levell receives some treatment.

Her left thigh is already strapped up pretty significantly, but Levell will continue for the time being.

Good from Leicester.

They pass the ball around really nicely, and work the ball out to the left for Jess Sigsworth.

The summer signing from Manchester United cuts in and decides to take a shot but it drifts harmlessly wide of the target.

Encouraging signs though.

Chelsea are growing into this.

Aniek Nouwen plays a lovely ball out to the left, and the ball is set back for Jessie Fleming about 20 yards out. She takes a couple of touches before drilling towards goal and Kirstie Levell gets across well to parry the ball away from goal.

Niamh Charles is causing Leicester a lot of problems here.

Jessie Fleming whips in a great ball, and Charles is lurking at the back post, but her header, back across goal, drifts just wide.

One touch, one touch, one touch. Chelsea might have made eight changes today, but the players don't look disjointed at all.

They work the ball really nicely between Jessie Fleming, Beth England and Fran Kirby and the ball gets worked out to the right-back Niamh Charles to run on to, but the defender gets across well, and Charles ends up toeing it wide.

Leicester will be pleased with the start of this game. There have been a couple of frailties in the Chelsea back line.

They will fancy their chances of getting the ball in behind and getting a shot off.

Leicester don't look like a side that have lost all four league games, and been knocked out of the FA Cup, so far.

They are just lacking that quality in the final ball so far, but they are knocking the ball around well.
