Klopp trying to referee this came too, finally gets shown who the actual referee is.

Kane should be off and Emerson's foul on Jota was a stonewall penalty. Great quality football, awful quality officiating.

Hugo Lloris is definitely becoming busier now. It's a good save with his feet to deny Trent Alexander-Arnold's volley in the box.

Hopefully Jota's goal will mean Conte's 8-0-2 formation has to change a little.

Alisson makes a mess of a corner now but escapes.

Definitely no penalty to Liverpool by the way even though it was clumsy at best by Emerson Royal.

  11. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 37 mins

    Spurs 1-1 Liverpool

Liverpool want a penalty now as Diogo Jota goes down in the box under pressure from a couple of defenders.

Was he shoved by Emerson Royal? There was a shout there.

Spurs break and Alisson almost gets caught out outside his box.

    Diogo Jota

    And there we go.

Andy Robertson plays the ball down the left to Sadio Mane, who breaks into the box. His pass to Diogo Jota is cut out but there is Robertson who pounces onto the loose ball.

He puts in a cross which Jota gets a powerful header onto that Hugo Lloris has no chance with.

Tottenham have exposed the weaknesses in this Liverpool side. They are playing two versus two in the centre-back positions and they have been able to get in behind.

    Spurs 1-0 Liverpool

It's the Harry Kane and Son Heung-min show again. Old-school vibes. Old school being the first half of last season. Harry Kane runs down the right and crosses for Son but Alisson gets there first.

Liverpool have had eight shots to Spurs' four. But all of Spurs ones were real, real chances.

Tottenham have now had two outstanding chances. They should be out of sight. If I was a fan I would be worried this is going to come back to haunt us.

Dele Alli has missed a MEGA chance to be a hero.

Son Heung-min runs down the right but a bad bounces slows him down. He waits for people to catch him and plays the ball to the unmarked Alli in the box.

Alli, near the penalty spot with nobody near him, should bury it but misses the target. Alisson gets a touch actually but he shouldn't have had a chance.

It was a definite free-kick. Liverpool have tried to deliver balls in from wide areas and not won a header yet. They need to do something different a bit more off the cuff.
