It is all Brighton at the moment as Pascal Gross whips a dangerous ball across the face of goal from the right.

Manchester United clear, Bruno Fernandes hoofing the ball anywhere but close to their goal.

The visitors are struggling to live with Brighton right now.

Man United's malaise is from a serious case of Ronalditis Paradoxicus. He'll score loads of goals but the overall team is diminished. He both improves and weakens the team at the same time.

Henri: This Man Utd team is killing me. Can anyone at the club tell us truly what’s going on?

A great start for the hosts and, with the first real chance from either side, they take the lead. Once again, as so often this season, it is unconvincing defending from the visitors as Alex Telles had a chance to clear the danger, but his header went up, not out.

Pascal Gross' shot was then blocked and Moises Caicedo opened the scoring with a low strike that went through Victor Lindelof's legs and snuck into the bottom corner.

What a moment for the 20-year-old Ecuador international in only his sixth game for Brighton. Scoring your first Premier League goal at home against Manchester United at a packed stadium - it's the stuff of dreams and you could see what it meant to him as he sprinted off, springing high in the air in delight.

I've been saying for months now to anyone who'll listen - we could pick 11 lads from the terraces and get more effort and determination than this lot display. We are the easiest team in the league to play against.

Joel Veltman gets across Cristiano Ronaldo well to stop the forward from getting into the box. A decent response by the visitors, though, after that early set back.

Nemanja Matic weaves his way into the box before he cuts the ball back to Juan Mata, whose shot is deflected behind.

    Brighton 1-0 Man Utd

Manchester United have lost their last four games away from home so while the win against Brentford at Old Trafford on Monday was most welcome it doesn't fix their issues.

The visitors try to respond but a ball into the box is hooked away by Lewis Dunk before Bruno Fernandes' ball back into the box is overhit and goes behind for a goal kick.

    The hosts take the lead!

Moises Caicedo scores his first goal in English football and it is a lovely, clinical finish.

Pascal Gross' shot is blocked but Caicedo picks up the loose ball and drives a shot from 25 yards through Victor Lindelof's legs and inside the near post.

What a moment for the 20 year old.

"We want Glazers out," is the early chant from the Manchester United faithful after only 12 minutes of action.

There was talk on Monday of a mass walkout (which largely did not happen) from the United fans at Old Trafford in the 73rd minute of their match against Brentford - the 17 minutes remaining representing the 17 years the Glazer family had owned the club since 2005.

United are set to miss out on the Champions League for only the fifth time in 30 seasons this year, and it's clear who some of the fans are blaming.

    Brighton 0-0 Man Utd

"What a waste of money," chants one Brighton fan as Cristiano Ronaldo puts a pass straight out of play.

It has been questioned whether Manchester United really needed him, but 18 goals this season is a very decent return. It is hard to imagine where they would have been in the table without him.

Scott McTominay concedes a free kick midway inside the Manchester United half. Lewis Dunk does well to hook a ball into the middle of the box from Pascal Gross' delivery but the visitors clear.
