Pascal Gross' delivery is deep and Marc Cucurella's shot on the far side of the box is blocked.

Brighton keep up the pressure - they are looking the most likely to score again here. Alex Telles takes no chances with Pascal Gross' clipped ball on the right and the hosts have another corner.

Nicely worked by Brighton as the free kick is played over the defence but Danny Welbeck volleys over.

The hosts are looking dangerous when they attack.

A bit of treatment and Anthony Elanga is good to continue. Scott McTominay then gives away a free kick. He is in real danger of picking up a booking before long.

Anthony Elanga is down injured so Brighton put the ball out of play. Yves Bissouma won the ball but did catch Elanga after.

A great start for the hosts and, with the first real chance from either side, they take the lead. Once again, as so often this season, it is unconvincing defending from the visitors as Alex Telles had a chance to clear the danger, but his header went up, not out.

Pascal Gross' shot was then blocked and Moises Caicedo opened the scoring with a low strike that went through Victor Lindelof's legs and snuck into the bottom corner.

What a moment for the 20-year-old Ecuador international in only his sixth game for Brighton. Scoring your first Premier League goal at home against Manchester United at a packed stadium - it's the stuff of dreams and you could see what it meant to him as he sprinted off, springing high in the air in delight.

Joel Veltman gets across Cristiano Ronaldo well to stop the forward from getting into the box. A decent response by the visitors, though, after that early set back.

Nemanja Matic weaves his way into the box before he cuts the ball back to Juan Mata, whose shot is deflected behind.

Manchester United play the corner short, the cross is half cleared but Matic shanks the ball well over.

Manchester United have lost their last four games away from home so while the win against Brentford at Old Trafford on Monday was most welcome it doesn't fix their issues.

The visitors try to respond but a ball into the box is hooked away by Lewis Dunk before Bruno Fernandes' ball back into the box is overhit and goes behind for a goal kick.

"We want Glazers out," is the early chant from the Manchester United faithful after only 12 minutes of action.

There was talk on Monday of a mass walkout (which largely did not happen) from the United fans at Old Trafford in the 73rd minute of their match against Brentford - the 17 minutes remaining representing the 17 years the Glazer family had owned the club since 2005.

United are set to miss out on the Champions League for only the fifth time in 30 seasons this year, and it's clear who some of the fans are blaming.

"What a waste of money," chants one Brighton fan as Cristiano Ronaldo puts a pass straight out of play.

It has been questioned whether Manchester United really needed him, but 18 goals this season is a very decent return. It is hard to imagine where they would have been in the table without him.
