  1. 'We are disappointed with the goal we conceded'published at 17:30 British Summer Time 15 May 2022

    Wolves 1-1 Norwich

    Norwich City

Norwich boss Dean Smith speaking to Sky Sports: "We wanted to stop the bleeding in terms of conceding chances so we went with a back five. I thought we did really well and carved some good chances in transition. Teemu [Pukki] has three chances and scored one. We could have been ahead by more at half time. We feel their centre halves leave a big space; it is difficult for Conor [Coady]. who was brought off at half time and we exploited the spaces really well.

"Teemu is usually very good one v one and he didn't take the first couple. He did a reverse for the goal so I was pleased. We restricted them to little but I'm disappointed with the manner of the goal we conceded because it wasn't a free kick. There is a lot of planning for next season; we are looking at bringing players in and getting ready for the Championship."

  2. 'A great result'published at 17:29 British Summer Time 15 May 2022

FT: West Ham 2-2 Man City

    West Ham United

West Ham manager David Moyes, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: “I couldn’t believe the way that Manchester City played in the first half and how we played and that we were 2-0 up - they were so good. They had so much of the ball. We knew we wouldn’t have much of it and we’d suffer. We scored two really good goals and it gave us a chance to try and hang onto it.

"It is a great result for us. We’d have taken a point before the game because we were playing against an incredibly good team - I always thought we’d be in the game but they were so good with the ball and it was a job to stop them only scoring two to be honest with you.

"I wanted to challenge and be around fourth or fifth this season so I was disappointed that we’ve dropped off. But we’ve got a great group of players and their resilience - they showed it today with all the blocks they put in."

There's a long way to go in this game and the first half can tell us there will be plenty more action, plenty more drama. What resilience from Everton to bounce back. Is this was four or five weeks ago there is no way. They have got a new found character and resilience and shown strength and unity and to get themselves back in front. What a game it has been.

Ste: How is an accidental trip a sending off but a deliberate foul in the box not a second yellow card??

    Anthony Phillips: Never a penalty

KW: Don't really want Everton to go down, but as a Spurs fan, I REALLY want them to have something left to play for on Sunday.

You felt the pressure coming from Brentford. Wissa picks it up and is trying to whip it back into the area but it deflects off Coleman's head and beyond Pickford who has got absolutely no chance.

Brentford have really put the pressure on and you felt it was only a matter of time. They have got that slice of fortune to get back on level terms.

As football fans we just want consistency. It's impossible to look at the two penalties Spurs have got in the last two matches and not give Everton that if you're applying the same standards.
