    Blackburn on the attack again.

Tyrhys Dolan feeds a looping ball over the Huddersfield defenders and into Sammie Szmodics, who can't bring it down cleanly.

His shot is blocked on the edge of the box.

The Terriers then surge forward on the counter, roared on by the home fans, but David Kasumu's shot is blocked and sent out for a corner.

    Huddersfield 2-0 Blackburn

Blackburn have had a staggering 82% possession, pushing forward and putting pressure on the Huddersfield defence.

But the home side have plenty of blue and white shirts back to repel the visitors.

Can Rovers get one back before the half? Just under 10 minutes until the break.

Joe Gibney: Neil Warnock and Roy Hodgson showing that age is just a number.

Huddersfield were second-bottom, a point from safety, when 74-year-old Warnock was appointed in February - as it stands the Terriers are up to 18th and four points clear of the drop zone. But he's a baby compared to 75-year-old Hodgson!

Super ball into Ben Brereton Diaz, who brings the ball down on the near right side of the box with a leaping touch.

The ball skids away from him a little and he slashes it across the Huddersfield goal.

Hands on his head, he looks to the sky, knowing he could've connected better with that one.

What an incredible few minutes for Huddersfield and the noise here is electric.

Matty Pearson with four in three from centre back and Jack Rudoni’s cool finish for two in two.

One fan next to me has said “imagine if Neil Warnock had been here last season!”

Whatever he is doing, it is magic - Rovers don’t know what’s hit them.

Blackburn are poor when the rubber hits the road and we are seeing that right now at the John Smith's Stadium.

Rovers have won just one of their last eight away league games, conceding 12 goals and scoring eight in the process.

Not good enough for a promotion-chasing team.

    Absolutely embarrassing defending from Blackburn.

Jack Rudoni does a great striker's movement to get in front of his marker and sidefoots it in.

After a dominant 15 minutes Rovers find themselves 2-0 down.

    Jack Rudoni (22 mins)

Easy money for Huddersfield, who are on their way to a fourth win in a row to take them further clear of the drop zone.

Joseph Hungbo sends in a slow, low cross from the far side.

Jack Rudoni casually meets the ball at the near post, with Blackburn defender Hayden Carter haplessly trailing behind him, and side foots it past the keeper.

    Wow.

That Huddersfield goal came out of nowhere.

It had been all Blackburn up until then and Rovers still look dangerous going forward.

But what a start from the home side.

What can I say, Blackburn concede from a set-piece again.

Matty Pearson just hits in into an empty net.

Huddersfield have come up the park once and they've scored - Rovers have been so dominant but have switched off.

A priceless goal for Huddersfield - Matty Pearson takes advantage of a scrappy corner that isn't dealt with by Blackburn.

The cross comes sailing towards the back post, Rovers defenders and Aynsley Pears can't get a hold of it.

Pearson leaps above everyone else and heads the loose ball into the back of the net - that's the defender's FOURTH goal in three games!

Jon Dahl Tomasson's Blackburn are playing like their hair is on fire in these early stages.

I don't want to get carried away and say Huddersfield are looking vulnerable.

But the hosts are certainly in need of getting a little more organised at the back.

Joe Rankin-Costello didn't get hold of it.

Players these days don't seem to work on their weaker foot as much.

Unfortunately he didn't quite connect with it and it ended as a weak shot.

Ah, Blackburn should be a goal up.

Joe Rankin-Costello fires off a low left-footed shot from the centre of the box but it is saved by Tomas Vaclik.

It's all Rovers at the moment.

Still Rovers who are dominating possession at the moment.

Ideally I'd like to see a Blackburn victory here, away from home.

I'd like to see us press high up the park and play a high tempo, as I don't think teams can keep up with them when they play like that.

I think Blackburn have got to be able to mix things up if they're to reach the Premier League.
