Are Blackburn running out of steam at the wrong time? Possibly.

Jon Dahl Tomasson's sixth-placed side have lost their past two Championship games and failed to score on both occasions.

Even Rovers' form, which returned narrow wins and draws at the start of the year, seems to has fallen off a cliff in recent weeks.

But they're only a few games removed from a steady run that consistently returned points - don't write them off yet.

  2. Warnock's Terriers have new-found bitepublished at 12:21 British Summer Time 10 April 2023

It's hard not to be impressed with what Neil Warnock has been able to achieve so far at Huddersfield.

After a shaky start he has been able to steady the ship which, let's face it, was taking on water and slowly sinking to the bottom of the Championship table.

We can deep dive into the data, but the basic raw stats show the Terriers are scoring more goals and winning more games under the 74-year-old's leadership.

  3. Warnock has relegation-threatened Huddersfield singing againpublished at 12:18 British Summer Time 10 April 2023

Huddersfield boss Neil Warnock has the Terriers singing again, but they can't afford to be complacent with the threat of relegation to League One still very real.

Huddersfield Town have successfully dragged themselves out of the relegation places and up to 20th since veteran Neil Warnock took over the reins in mid-February. Make no mistake, they are still fighting for Championship survival but they’re in fine form under Warnock with three wins on the bounce over teams inside the league's top 12.

Meanwhile, Blackburn are clinging on to a play-off spot, in sixth place, and are in urgent need of a reset and some good fortune to keep their promotion ambitions alive. Jon Dahl Tomasson’s side have lost three of their last five and only have a one-point cushion on the chasing pack.

The Terriers lost to Rovers back in November but the hosts are the side entering this one full of fire and momentum.

Give the fans what they want. More football to close out the Easter weekend.

    Happy Easter Monday.

I hope you're suitably stuffed with the eggs of your choice.

I just overheard someone in the newsroom say; "I've eaten so much chocolate I feel ill."

    Lovely.

Anyway, we have no fewer than 12 Championship games on today, taking us right through until 22:00 BST this evening.

So whilst your digestive system does somersaults, wherever you are, whatever you are doing, thanks for being here.

    Let's get cracking.
