  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 10 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Sheff Utd

Fans of both of these teams won't need reminding, for very different reasons, that this fixture produced seven goals earlier this season.

The Blades trailed 2-1 at the break before roaring back to win 5-2 at Bramall Lane on 5 December.

The Clarets haven't lost a league game since.

Out on the pitch both teams are just trying to feel their way into the game with quite a few scrappy fouls in the midfield stopping the game from getting any flow.

And one of those fouls sees Burnley defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis booked for going through the back of Oli McBurnie.

  2. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Sheff Utd

Great atmosphere at Turf Moor, as you'd expect.

The last time these fans saw their team lose a home game was when Newcastle consigned them to relegation last May.

The Clarets break away at goal after a poor pass in the midfield but Ashley Barnes is offside.

  3. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Sheff Utd

The away side win a corner in the first minute.

It bobbles around and Oli McBurnie, who scored in the reverse fixture, sweeps it towards goal where Anel Ahmedhodzic, who also did that, sends an overhead kick over the bar.

Burnley boss Vincent Kompany said straight after Friday's win over Middlesbrough secured promotion to the Premier League that it would be business as usual for his side this weekend as they prepared for this game.

But, with promotion assured, surely it is only natural if his players take their eye off the ball a little bit tonight against the Blades?

Or, will the Clarets be out for revenge after their 5-2 shellacking at Bramall Lane back in November?

Give the post a thumbs up for a Burnley win and click the down thumb if you think it'll be a draw or Blades victory.

Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom has said it is down to his team to make themselves the story this evening.

The Blades will go eight points clear of third-placed Luton, with a game in hand, if they can end Burnley's unbeaten home record.

The FA Cup semi-finalists have won their past three matches after a run of four defeats in six league games threatened to derail their automatic promotion push.

"We've put ourselves in a position where it is about what we do," Heckingbottom told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"I know Monday is going to be about Burnley but we need to make sure we play our part and people are talking about us after the game."

Here's a great one from our good friends at Opta:

Burnley are unbeaten in their past 33 home league games in the Championship (W23 D10), a run which spans from December 2015 to the present day. The last team with a longer home unbeaten run in the Championship was Nottingham Forest between September 2009 and February 2011 (36 games).

The last team to go to Turf Moor and come away with three points in their back pockets were Lancashire rivals Preston on 5 December 2015.

A younger goalkeeper by the name of Jordan Pickford kept a clean sheet for the Lilywhites that day...

Burnley make three changes from the team that started the 2-1 win at Middlesbrough on Friday that confirmed promotion.

Defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis, midfielder Jack Cork and forward Lyle Foster all come in.

It's a first league start for Foster.

Sheffield United make two changes from the 1-0 win over Wigan. Oli Mcburnie and Ollie Norwood are both in.

Burnley XI: Muric, Roberts, Harwood-Bellis, Beyer, Maatsen, Cork, Cullen, Brownhill, Tella, Foster, Barnes.

Sheff Utd XI: Foderingham, Bogle, Ahmedhodzic, Egan, Robinson, Baldock, Norwood, Berge, Doyle, Ndiaye, McBurnie.

Burnley manager Vincent Kompany has said his side do not fear the Premier League after they secured promotion with seven games remaining.

A 2-1 win at Middlesbrough on Friday sealed an immediate return to the top flight.

"We don't have to be ready now. We're still in April, so we have another three months to make sure that everything is ready," the former Manchester City defender said.

"We want to compete. I don't think we have to fear that. We'll embrace it."

He added: "I am really happy for the club and for everybody involved. This is special. I still have to say that the best moment will be if we get the trophy, and that is not the case yet."

The Clarets have won promotion in each of their past three seasons in the Championship and won the title in 2015-16.

Burnley completed their mission to win promotion back to the Premier League on Friday when they beat Middlesbrough.

The Clarets have enjoyed a superb season and now need a maximum of 11 points from their final seven games to secure the title.

A victory today over second-placed Sheffield United would go a long way to securing top spot and be a great way for boss Vincent Kompany to celebrate his 37th birthday.

The Blades are the last team to beat Kompany's men in the league, all the way back in early November.

A win for Paul Heckingbottom's men tonight would end Burnley's unbeaten home record and go a long way to making sure that this is a Premier League fixture next season.

Hopefully this is an absolute cracker to bring the curtain down on this Easter feast of EFL action.
