Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane speaking on Sky Sports: "As bad as Arsenal were, we need to credit Brighton. They were outstanding and they were up for that battle.

"Arsenal look like they've run out of steam mentally and physically. They look like they've come off a tough European game.

"They've given it a good go this season but they've come up just short."

Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards speaking on Sky Sports: "It's a good feeling for Manchester City.

Brighton for the title next season?

Every time you think they can't get any better, they produce a performance and result like that.

The players are all over at the away end celebrating. Julio Enciso, despite clearly in pain and limping, wants to get involved and hobbles across the pitch to join them.

As an Arsenal fan, it's obviously disappointing to be in the title race for so long and not seal the deal. I'm still very proud of this team as they've outperformed expectations this season and secured their return to the CL. As many of us suspected, a combination of injuries in a few key areas and general fatigue has caught up with the team. City have so much squad depth and it's so hard to compete with that. A few good signings in the Summer and I think we will see more good things from Arsenal next season. Brighton deserved winners here today.

They've played some beautiful stuff and they rounded it off with another goal in the tie to make it 3-0. It was a good save by Ramsdale but it was palmed into Estupiñán's path.

Several Arsenal players drop to the floor, others just stare into the distance. They know that the title race is as good as over.

Meanwhile, huge celebrations in the away end. What a win and what a performance by Brighton.

It is going to be exciting to see them in Europe next season.

It's all over and Manchester City are on the cusp of winning the Premier League title.

A defeat for Arsenal against Nottingham Forest next Saturday will ensure Pep Guardiola's side take the title.

Failing that, City just need to match Arsenal's result against Forest when they play Chelsea on Sunday to become champions.

Arsenal fans are leaving in big numbers now, the Arsenal fan here in the office wants to leave but has another five hours of his shift to go.

I don't think any Gunners fan expected things to go as badly as they have today.

    Pervis Estupiñán

    It's a capitulation!

Brighton add a third in stoppage time as Deniz Undav's shot is pushed away by Aaron Ramsdale but Pervis Estupiñán is there to turn in the rebound for his first goal in English football.

A wonderful day for Brighton, a nightmare for Arsenal.

Agree with Adam (18:09). Arsenal lost steam with the long term losses of two defenders. Although huge progress has been made compared to last season, they'll be a lot of summer signings. This club needs more depth of quality in their squad, I can see Arteta signing up to 6 players, 2 defenders, 2 midfielders and 2 forwards.

    Deniz Undav

    Disastrous for Arsenal!

Aaron Ramsdale plays out from the back but Leandro Trossard's flicked ball deflects back towards the Arsenal box and Deniz Undav is there to lob Ramsdale and score Brighton's second.

The chance of victory is gone for Arsenal and with it, you would have to say, are the Gunners' title chances.

Eight minutes to go and it is looking an increasingly tough ask for Arsenal. They did, however, score in the 88th and 90th minutes against Southampton last month, so are capable of scoring twice late on.
