Josko Gvardiol fancies a debut goal and is right up into the box for Manchester City but he is stopped by the Burnley defender.

Into the final minute, don't feel we will see a huge amount of time added on but we will find out soon enough.

Having been a brilliant centre-back from his playing days, Burnley boss Vincent Kompany will not be too pleased about the defending for that third goal, failing to clear and allowing Rodri an easy finish.

Work to do on the training pitch for the former Belgium international.

If you want to see Kompany losing it in front of his players at Barnfield, I'd suggest watching the Mission to Burnley documentary.

We talk about set pieces and how important they are.

Up against Man City, three nil down, and two of the goals have come from set pieces.

For all the great football you associate Man City with, set pieces have caused Burnley's issues against them today.

    Burnley 0-2 Man City

Oops. Some early season rustiness as the fourth official holds up the board and the number '36' is shown for Burnley. Problem is there is no number 36 in the Burnley team tonight.

A bit of clarification from Vincent Kompany and it is Manuel Benson on for Jordan Beyer.

Some risky playing out from the back by Burnley hands Manchester City a throw in in the final third. The visitors opt to work the ball back into their own half to retain possession.

I'd be interested to know Pep Guardiola's thoughts on Erling Haaland's performance so far in this second half because he has been pretty quiet. He wins Manchester City a corner as his pass into the box deflects behind but nothing comes of it.

Still, we know full well he can do almost nothing for most of a game yet deliver exactly where it matters and when it matters. That's what he's done so far.

Sander Berge, such a classy footballer who is able to slow things down in midfield if the side he is playing for comes under pressure, swings a searching ball into the box but Ederson comes way off his line to collect.
