Just watching the replay of the England goal and Jordan Henderson made a really good run down the middle just before Harry Kane made that pass to pull the full-back away from Kyle Walker.

It's normally Bukayo Saka in the high position but this time it was Kyle Walker and what a pass from Harry Kane.

It just shows you that you can have all the possession and short interchanges but you can't beat an inch-perfect ball like that.

I found myself getting annoyed at seeing Harry Kane popping up in midfield but he knew what he was doing.

A bit of a shame that it needed Kane to take the initiative and remove himself from the centre-forward position, but a big chance for England to kick on now.

An interesting game between two teams with contrasting styles.

England have dominated possession but Ukraine have looked great on the counter and I think we'll see more of that in the second half.

It felt like England were lured into a trap for the opening goal. They were so comfortable in possession but the moment it turned over, there was space to be exploited.

One minute added on at the end of the first half. England are pushing for a second and Bukayo Saka plays a brilliant ball to the far post for Harry Kane, who nods it back across goal but there's no-one there to poke in.

Roman Yaremchuk picked up a booking a couple of minutes ago for a foul and that's two Ukraine players on yellow cards so far.

That's an important goal from Kyle Walker. It looked onside to me but you can never fully know until the lines are drawn.

You certainly want Harry Kane in those deep positions when he delivers balls like that. It was curled to perfection for the run of Walker.

The hardest bit for Walker was just prodding it home. He was through on goal but he had time to think about it.
