It had to come from a set piece, it's not James Tarkowski this time but it's Amadou Onana - he climbs really well a brilliant jump by the substitute.

So many bodies in there, not pretty but a valuable one for the Toffees.

Everton are level! How big a goal could that be for Sean Dyche's side?

The corner is swung in from the right by Dwight McNeil, Sam Johnstone is swamped by blue shirts and Amadou Onana rises highest at the back post to head home.

Still plenty of time to find a winner...

Unpopular opinion (maybe) but I think Jean-Philippe Mateta is very underrated. Very few in the league better than him at holding up a long ball, perfect in a defensive system.

    Good save from Sam Johnstone.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin with the knockdown again but James Garner didn't really get hold of the shot.

    Corner.

    Everton 0-1 Crystal Palace

More boos at Goodison Park as Jordan Ayew goes down wanting some treatment.

The boos only get louder when he gets up and seems OK to continue.

    Everton 0-1 Crystal Palace

Another superb ball in from Dwight McNeil and another Dominic Calvert-Lewin header goes wide.

Chris Richards does well to make it as tough as he can for the striker but Calvert-Lewin would still expect to put it away.

Everton fan here, Palace deserve this. First to every 50-50, clearly want it more. We're woeful.

I dread to think what the good folk at Goodison pay for a season ticket.

    Everton 0-1 Crystal Palace

Everton back on the attack and Joel Ward does well to get himself in front of a blue shirt after a handy knockdown from Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Still more than enough time for Everton to turn this game around, though. One goal changes everything.

Cheers from the away fans as their side get the ball into the Everton half and win a corner.

It comes to nothing but they just needed to get out of their own half.

Not hugely surprising but Palace have dropped deeper since the goal.

With plenty of time left to play, though, they are going to have to soak up a lot of Everton pressure.

Excellent goal by Ayew but generally it’s a game where you feel sorry for the ball. Not the beautiful game!

Both teams are making a change now.

Sean Dyche sends on Beto for Abdoulaye Doucoure, who is still working his way back after injury.

Meanwhile, Palace bring on Naouirou Ahamada for Odsonne Edouard.

Everton play on regardless and swing another cross into the box.

Disappointing from Everton so far, boot it forward seems to be the plan. I am neutral, but Palace will feel a chance missed if they don't knick it.

    Tony

I have absolutely no horse in this race, but it's annoying to see the lack of ambition on display from two supposedly relegation threatened sides. There's nothing for the neutral here.
