David Nicholson Hirst‏: Another boring race, F1 isn't what it used to be.

Slight confusion here with that early chequered flag, as to when that race actually finished. It's not the first time there has been a flag cock-up - you might remember Pele forgetting about the flag altogether in Brazil in 2002.

The drama in the closing stages is around the battle for second, and the fight for fourth. Max Verstappen is chasing Valtteri Bottas for all he's worth, while Lewis Hamilton is gearing up for a late attack on Daniel Ricciardo - using DRS - to try to snatch fourth and retain the drivers' championship lead. Sebastian Vettel is comfortable at the front.

Lance Stroll, who was involved in a spectacular crash with Brendon Hartley in the opening lap, tells BBC Radio 5 live: "I'm fine. I had a good start, gained a few positions, was side by side with Brendon, the car got loose, I corrected it but there was not much room for both of us.

As it stands, Sebastian Vettel will go top of the drivers' championship by one point as things stand. Vettel will get 25, while Hamilton will pick up 10 points for fifth.

Hamilton would get 12 points for fourth, which is why catching Daniel Ricciardo would mean so much to him.
