  1. 'Moore took his time'published at 23:38 British Summer Time 30 September 2016

    Garcia/Cabrera-Bello beat Moore/Holmes 3&2

Chris Henry, Rafa Cabrera-Bello's mental coach, on BBC Radio 5 live: "Ryan Moore took a long time over it. Sometimes you can overdo it and in my experience with professional snooker players under pressure, they tend to take more time than they actually need."

  2. Europe up - A second pointpublished at 23:35 British Summer Time 30 September 2016

    Garcia/Cabrera-Bello beat Moore/Holmes 3&2

Sergio Garcia rolls a lovely lag close on 15, the tap in is conceded so he's in the cup for four. JB Holmes or Ryan Moore must now hole out from range to keep this match going. Their wins on the last two holes look set to count for little.

Holmes is not even close, Moore goes all out for it but in doing so botches it.

Europe have a second point. That's the best point they've won too. Garcia and Cabrera-Bello owned that match from the off. Great putting, good driving and a crucial point.

Coming down the last few holes you can tell because all the players' wives are here. It's a big match for both teams.

... Kuchar misses his birdie attempt, but Johnson has a slightly shorter one to take the hole... blimey, that wiped its feet, but eventually popped in to reduce the gap to two holes with three to play.

USA hope rests on the shoulders of Ryan Moore on this 15th green. He is chipping from the fringe, down the slope and it's long, it's way too long. He'll have maybe 20ft for four, Sergio Garcia and Rafa Cabrera-Bello can get in much closer.

    D Johnson/Kuchar v McIlroy/Pieters 3UP (14)

Rory with a left-to-righter from about 15 feet at 15, and it breaks too soon. Johnson and Kuchar are lurking, so Pieters could do with making his, from about 10 feet uphill... doesn't make it...

McIlroy and Johnson about neck and neck off the tee at 15, Kuchar back on the fairway, Pieters over in the right-hand rough. Ballsy approach from the Belgian, however, before Kuchar follows him on. McIlroy overcooks his slightly, before Johnson gets inside the lot of them. This match not over yet...

    Holmes/Moore v Garcia/Cabrera-Bello 2UP (15)

The par-five 16th should offer up a birdie chance for Rafa Cabrera-Bello or Sergio Garcia. Cabrera-Bello hits an arrow of a second to the edge of the green. That's superb.

Ryan Moore practically finds the same spot, there's life in it yet and Garcia takes the water on to get a little closer. JB Holmes is having no say, a tree blocks his way so it's a chip to the fairway. The door closing on USA.

  11. USA claw a hole backpublished at 23:20 British Summer Time 30 September 2016

    D Johnson/Kuchar v McIlroy/Pieters 3UP (14)

    Andrew Magee

That hole saw the first wild shot Rory McIlroy has hit all day.

Dustin Johnson then brushing the ground with his big square putter, but he's got a back up plan, he's got Kuchar from about two feet.

Dustin to win the 14th but he's given that too much juice. He misses with a short one to win the hole but Kuchar makes sure, winning the hole in par.

    Holmes/Moore v Garcia/Cabrera-Bello 2UP (15)

A par-five should suit the big swing of JB Holmes. He rockets one, practically stood on one leg, but it's in the trees.

    Hole: 16

    Yards: 572

    Par: 5

As the shortest of the par-five holes, players will be looking at birdie as a minimum. The pond near the green makes an approach in two blows very demanding. This one could come down to wedge play on the third shot. Get it close.

  16. 'Europe lose two in a row'published at 23:15 British Summer Time 30 September 2016

    Holmes/Moore v Garcia/Cabrera-Bello 2UP (15)

    David Leadbetter
Leading golf coach on BBC Radio 5 live

Europe have lost two holes in a row and obviously the applause was for them missing it. That's not necessarily sporting, but that’s the way it is. It looked like it had gone down in the shadow.

  17. Postpublished at 23:14 British Summer Time 30 September 2016

    D Johnson/Kuchar v McIlroy/Pieters 4UP (14)

Pieters found sand off the tee at 14 and his second has gone long and right. Pieters with his third at 14 and it's a little bit racy. McIlroy had to chop out and is over the back in three.

  18. 'USA take some momentum'published at 23:13 British Summer Time 30 September 2016

    Holmes/Moore v Garcia/Cabrera-Bello 2UP (15)

Rafa Cabrera-Bello's sister Emma, who plays on the Ladies' European Tour, on BBC Radio 5 live: "That is a very important putt for the American team. They have just come from winning a hole and this is where they can get some momentum."

    Holmes/Moore v Garcia/Cabrera-Bello 2UP (15)

Ryan Moore drained a huge putt on the last, he needs another here. His white glove sits in his back pocket, the putter is held still after impact and we finally get movement, it's a fist pump because that ball is in the hole. A brilliant, brilliant putt. Sergio Garcia nods respectfully.

Rafa Cabrera-Bello has to convert a 10 footer for the half. He pulls it, there's a little belief back in the American stride.
