  1. Koepka 'loving' Ryder Cup debutpublished at 23:10 British Summer Time 30 September 2016

    Snedeker/Koepka beat Kaymer/Willett 5&4

USA's Brandt Snedeker on Sky Sports: "Everybody has got their job to do. Our job was to worry about us. We did a great job of staying in the present. Brooks did a great job of making me look good.

"If I could hit some more greens it would be a lot of fun for the rest of the week. The greens are perfect, there's no one to blame but yourself if you're missing putts."

US rookie Brooks Koepka: "I love it. This atmosphere is unbelievable and the fans are awesome. We've had a great time."

    Snedeker/Koepka beat Kaymer/Willett 5&4

Koepka with a chance to kill things off at 14 but his birdie putt stays right. McIlroy goes wild off the tee at 14, he won't have a right-handed shot from up against that fence. Back at 14, it's all done as Willett misses with an ambitious putt from the fringe.

    Holmes/Moore v Garcia/Cabrera-Bello 3UP (14)

Rafa Cabrera-Bello has been outstanding today. He watches on as Ryan Moore and Sergio Garcia find the green, Garcia doing so from the trees on 15.

Cabrera-Bello perhaps deserves to be the man who closes this out and that's a stunner, 10ft left. He high fives Garcia who has a smile as wide as the Mississippi River.

    D Johnson/Kuchar v McIlroy/Pieters 4UP (13)

Kuchar has a longun for birdie at 13 and he races it about eight feet by. Decent effort by playing partner Johnson but Pieters has a chance to win the hole... what a putt that is, a real slinky left-to-righter from about 18 feet, after McIlroy found the drink. Up at 15, Willett goes long with his second, as does Kaymer. The American pair could close them out here.

    United States 4-1 Europe

A graphic showing team USA earned £284 millionImage source, .

This US team packs a punch and each man carries a heavy wallet.

Their combined career earnings are just a tad shy of the predicted GDP of Tonga in 2016.

Phil Mickelson leads the way as you may expect, coining in over £80m in prize money alone. Brooks Koepka is in the poor house on £7m and change. Surprisingly, Ryan Moore has won a touch under £25m, just a little less than Jordan Spieth who is close to £26m in on-the-course earnings.

  9. 'Still looking good for Europe'published at 22:57 British Summer Time 30 September 2016

    Holmes/Moore v Garcia/Cabrera-Bello 3UP (14)

Emma Cabrera-Bello on BBC Radio 5 live: "The key to this match is at the beginning of the round the USA missed a couple of opportunities and Europe took advantage.

"Rafa and Sergio have been playing beautifully. Sergio is enjoying this round and this afternoon, and it's looking good.

"It's not over yet, but it is still looking good on our side. It's a tough hole coming up, just keep it below the pin. That is the key to this hole."

    Holmes/Moore v Garcia/Cabrera-Bello 3UP (14)

On the 14th green, where Europe won a first point, they seek a second. The four balls all have long putts as they seek birdie threes. JB Holmes... wide, Rafa Cabrera-Bello... wide. Ryan Moore takes an age in addressing the ball... nails it. He had to make that and now Sergio Garcia is putting to halve the hole from 15ft or so.

He's been stellar with the putter but cannot make it. Hope for the US, slim hope.

    5UP Snedeker/Koepka v Kaymer/Willett (13)

Kaymer and Willett are being buried, here's Snedeker ramming another nail in the coffin on the 13th to go dormie. The German not looking like a wise captain's pick thus far, he's played like a drain this afternoon.

  13. 'The fat lady is warming up'published at 22:52 British Summer Time 30 September 2016

    5UP Snedeker/Koepka v Kaymer/Willett (13)

    Fred Funk
Former US Ryder Cup player on BBC Radio 5 live

They have this saying that "it ain't over until the fat lady sings", well she has been warming up for so long that she's nearly lost her voice.

I think she can spray her vocal chords again...

Sometimes you are looking for the one opportunity and you just don't come through. It's frustrating.

    D Johnson/Kuchar v McIlroy/Pieters 3UP (12)

Willett safely on at the par-three 13th, as is Kaymer. Back at 12, Kuchar has a birdie putt from about 35 feet out... that's a fine putt through the shadows and his par putt is conceded. But Pieters has a chance to win it, and misses by a whisker, as does McIlroy.

  15. Rose pays tribute to Stensonpublished at 22:49 British Summer Time 30 September 2016

    Rose/Stenson beat Spieth/Reed 5&4

Justin Rose on Sky Sports: "I had a little moment on the second fairway when I thought they would be tough to beat and they certainly were.

"We did what we do best and we dovetailed nicely.

"I relied on my partner again and he delivered, which is great.

His partner Henrik Stenson added: "We played nicely this morning but didn't make any putts. They don't give much for free but we played nicely and made some putts this afternoon that we didn't make this morning and they tired a little."

    Holmes/Moore v Garcia/Cabrera-Bello

Henrik Stenson and Justin Rose needed six birdies to win in 14 holes, Sergio Garcia and Rafa Cabrera-Bello have only needed four to dominate Ryan Moore and JB Holmes.

Holmes and Moore have been pretty poor from the first tee shots when they both found rough. Their challenge could end on the 14th shortly.

Garcia and Moore are on the dancefloor with outside chances.

So the results are in and your all-time Ryder Cup teams have been calculated. There were some no-brainers, weren't there? With 99% of voters opting for Seve Ballesteros in their European selection.

His compatriot Jose Maria Olazabal was the second most-popular pick for Europe, but further down the team-sheet, while England's Ian Poulter was the next highest pick behind Ballesteros.

Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus were both in more than 98.5% of the American teams selected, but Tiger Woods received 44% and just scraped in.
