    B Koepka +1, D Johnson +3 (15)

Dustin Johnson goes through his final few practice swings at the par-five 16th, and proceeds to leather his drive down the throat of the fairway.

Brooks Koepka would like to follow that... he sprawls it right, but not right enough if you're in the Tommy Fleetwood camp - that nestles on the edge of the fairway.

    P Reed +3 (16)

Patrick Reed goes birdie hunting on the par-three 17th but he is half a club short with his tee shot. He's on the green but has a 25-footer to pick up a shot.

I'm so nervous I keep hitting the wrong keys while typing, so who knows how Tommy Fleetwood is feeling right now.

  3. Birdie for Finaupublished at 22:42 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    T Finau +3 (14)

Tony Finau polishes off the 14th with a superbly made birdie.

A tap-in for the American after landing his approach next to the flag.

He's three over, two off the lead.

  4. Birdie for Johnsonpublished at 22:41 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    B Koepka +1, D Johnson +3 (15)

Brooks Koepka sends his birdie putt scuttling up the slope, but it runs out of steam a few feet short. He pokes in for par.

Dustin Johnson is coming at the flag from the opposite side. The breeze is picking up a little, whipping through his polo shirt. DJ steps away from his birdie putt, eyes up the line, and then steadies himself.

Gently does it, all the way into the middle of the cup. Birdie, and it's back on for the world number one.

  5. Par for Reedpublished at 22:37 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    P Reed +3 (16)

Patrick Reed needs to birdie the par-five 16th. It's 621 yards so he's not reaching in two. He's left himself 120 yards for his third.

The flag is in a decent spot but Reed cannot flirt with it. He is looking closely at the final five feet of his upcoming putt but he's 40 more feet away.

How aggressive dare he be? A two-putt par would leave him needing to birdie one of the last two to equal Tommy Fleetwood's clubhouse score.

Here he goes. He gives it a good rattle but it pulls up a foot short. Par it is.

    B Koepka +1, D Johnson +4 (14)

Dustin Johnson rattles the pin with his approach!

That could have gone anywhere, and the American turns away in frustration, but it stops six, seven feet away. Phew.

Brooks Koepka's approach runs on. He's willing it to stop. It does, above and right of the flag, 40 feet away.

    T Finau +4 (13)

    Oh hello, Tony Finau.

He drives 368 yards on the 14th and then coaxes a delightful approach on to the green that whips round and almost back on itself to nestle up next to the flag.

    Birdie chance.

  8. Postpublished at 22:31 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    B Koepka +1, D Johnson +4 (14)

Fairway, all the way, for Brooks Koepka off the 15th tee.

Dustin Johnson hammers a huge tee shot and watches it kick on some. He needs to make something here...

  9. 69 for Hattonpublished at 22:30 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    T Hatton +6 (F)

Top-10 chance for Tyrrell Hatton after finishing with a tap-in par at the last.

Could have been better but he played the back nine in level par after back-to-back birdies at eight and nine.

  10. Koepka saves par, DJ bogeyspublished at 22:28 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    B Koepka +1, D Johnson +4 (14)

Dustin Johnson has been patiently waiting for his shot at birdie. An outside chance, mind, 70+ feet back in to the hole. He leaves it a little short, but overcook that and it could've been heading back towards the tee box.

Brooks Koepka takes a deep breath, wipes the sweat from his putter, and drains a par-saver! What a putt under mounting pressure, nerves of steel and worthy of a fist bump with his caddie.

How you feeling now, Dustin? Seven feet to play, downhill, it breaks right and away from the cup - the world number one bogeys, and drops three shots off the lead.

  11. 75 for Poulterpublished at 22:24 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    I Poulter +12 (F)

Not to be for Ian Poulter.

Double bogey at the last for a five-over 75 final round.

Just the two birdies and that is not enough on this course the way it is playing today.

Andrew Priestley: There is a lot of golf left to be played, that is normally a good thing for those on the course, but not today. Fleetwood’s chances are growing by the minute. Multiple shots can be frittered away on any hole.

  13. Berger & Finau hanging aroundpublished at 22:23 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    T Finau +4, D Berger +4 (13)

Daniel Berger for birdie from 28 feet on the 13th...right online...no, stays up. Stays at +4.

Tony Finau with a scrambling par to stay at the same mark.

  14. Koepka scramblingpublished at 22:22 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    B Koepka +1, D Johnson +3 (13)

Brooks Koepka needs to pitch on and one-putt for par to maintain the lead.

He catches the front of the green from 66 yards, it threatens to bounce way beyond the flag but digs in and he'll like the look of that.

  15. Birdie for Reedpublished at 22:22 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    P Reed +3 (15)

And he drains it. Patrick Reed is now two back tied for third with Dustin Johnson.

The Masters champion is three under with three to play, including the par-five 16th.

  16. Postpublished at 22:20 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    B Koepka +1, D Johnson +3 (13)

Brooks Koepka's just inside the rough to the right of the fairway, some 165 yards from the flag.

He scrambles out, club wrapped in long grass as it rises, and pops his ball a long way short of the green.

Dustin Johnson takes an eight iron to his approach, he clips it up to the left bank of the green and it springs up off the slope before rolling on towards the back of the dancefloor.

  17. Rose bogeys, Stenson birdiespublished at 22:18 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    J Rose +6, H Stenson +5 (14)

Just when Justin Rose needs a good hole, he pulls his drive out left and into a bunker on the 14th. He can only chip out sideways and then thwacks is third on to the front edge of the green. He's got a dozen feet for par. Slides by on the right and that should be that for JR.

Henrik Stenson rolls in a second successive birdie putt to keep alive his faint hopes.

  18. 'My money's on Tommy'published at 22:17 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    T Fleetwood +2 (F)

    Oliver Wilson
Former Ryder Cup player on BBC Radio 5 live

I'm starting to really like the look of it - I'm putting my money on Tommy.

  19. Chance for Reed at 15published at 22:16 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    P Reed +4 (14)

About 15 feet for a birdie for Patrick Reed at the par-four 15th after hitting over 300 yards off the tee.

  20. Postpublished at 22:15 British Summer Time 17 June 2018

    B Koepka +1, D Johnson +3 (13)

The par-four 14th is playing at 512 yards. Probably the narrowest fairway of the lot to aim for, and Brooks Koepka's tee shot kicks on into the first cut.

Dustin Johnson eyes that slight error and swings his left to right down on to the good stuff.
