    Rose -10, Woodland 12 (10)

    Gary Woodland take a bow.

A terrible lie and position take the pin out of the equation but who cares. Not GW, who plays left and brings his ball back on to the dance floor. He'll have a sight of a birdie from there.

Justin Rose has got an awkward third from the second cut of grass on the left of the green.

  2. Bogey for Koepkapublished at 00:52 British Summer Time 17 June 2019

    Koepka -10, Reavie -7 (12)

Brooks Koepka drops back to 10 under, meaning Gary Woodland goes two strokes clear.

Poor tee shot cost the world number one there. Left himself a tough par putt after clipping out of the bunker and two-putts for bogey.

  3. Bogey for Scottpublished at 00:50 British Summer Time 17 June 2019

    Scott -7, Schauffele -8 (16)

A bogey for Adam Scott at 16 in which he missed his par putt from several feet and saw it end about four times further away from the flag...

  4. Postpublished at 00:49 British Summer Time 17 June 2019

    Rose -10, Woodland 12 (10)

Great bit of scrambling on 11 from the course marshals.

Justin Rose and Gary Woodland are in the longish stuff on the right. Not exactly prairie grass but long enough to cause difficulties at this stage down the stretch in a major.

  5. Postpublished at 00:49 British Summer Time 17 June 2019

    Koepka -11, Reavie -7 (11)

Almost! Koepka lands his chip out of the bunker pretty much on the flag, but it kicks on to leave him work to do to salvage par.

    Koepka -11, Reavie -7 (11)

Brooks Koepka leaves his tee shot at the par-three 12th short. He'll have to leap one over an angry looking bunker to get up and down for par.

When you're chasing your first major these little three footers seem to get a little longer and the hole gets a little smaller as you head down the stretch.

I played a terrific course with equally good views a few miles down the coast at Dunstanburgh Castle - that Northumberland coast has a few decent tracks worth exploring.

In other news. That Blimp from Saturday (at the 10th) is still going strong. It sounds like a cross between a lawn mower and a washing machine.

    Rose -10, Woodland -12 (10)

Justin Rose is in a spot of bother with his second in to 10. He's goes right towards the Pacific Ocean but thankfully his ball isn't picked up by the sea otters.

It's stayed on dry land and he's able to flip a chip to within nine feet. Tricky par saving putt coming up. Which he makes. That was concentration central!

Gary Woodland is ticking along nicely though. Another par. And another hole ticked off.

    Oosthuizen -7, McIlroy -6 (11)

Louis Oosthuizen has just nearly cleared out the gantry with his wayward tee shot at 12. That one was scattering spectators and TV pundits. All gone a bit Pete Tong for the South African since the turn...

  14. Birdie for Koepkapublished at 00:36 British Summer Time 17 June 2019

    Koepka -11, Reavie -1 (11)

Another birdie chance for Brooks Koepka, after an approach that lands way past the flag and fizzes back past the pin before putting the brakes on. Nine feet, how'd ya fancy this, Brooks?

Easy. The two-time defending champion sizzles it down to move within one of the lead. He's coming...

  15. Ideal scoring conditions?published at 00:33 British Summer Time 17 June 2019

Luke Donald reckons Mother Nature has helped with that.....

Rory drains a 30-footer from the fringe at 11. Too little too late for the Northern Irishman?

    It's a two-hole play-off tonight if we have a tie after 72 holes.

  19. Bogey for Woodlandpublished at 00:26 British Summer Time 17 June 2019

    Rose -10, Woodland -12 (9)

Breaking: Gary Woodland makes his third bogey of the week.

    What was I just saying?

  20. Postpublished at 00:25 British Summer Time 17 June 2019

    Rose -10, Woodland -13 (8)

Classy, classy stuff from Gary Woodland, who punches his third shot to within nine feet. He's only made two bogeys all week. So far.

Justin Rose's putter has gone a touch cold at the moment. Totally misreads his birdie chance, That'll be a par.
