Friday was just a very good day for the United States, who dominated both sessions to take a 6-2 lead.

The last time they led by so many points was against Great Britain & Ireland before Europe even joined the Ryder Cup.

Steve Stricker got all 12 of his players out on the course, and 11 of them contributed with at least half a point – with surprisingly the only man to come back empty handed being Jordan Spieth.

And let's be honest even he looked in pretty good nick.

Welcome to our coverage of day two of the 43rd Ryder Cup.

Friday was all about the United States wasn't it? The hosts opened up their biggest lead after day one against Europe by winning both sessions 3-1 at Whistling Straits.

Lots of missed putts was pretty much the theme for the visitors, with Padraig Harrignton's team needing a dramatic improvement on the greens if they are to turn the tide of the match on Saturday.

Can they fightback today? We shall see.

Buckle in. Here we go again.
