You can imagine that this may just have caught the attention of a few of the later starters, who on paper at least look unlikely to challenge Scottie Scheffler.

Rory McIlroy clatters his tee shot away down the first and then zips his iron shot into nine feet.

An early look at birdie is always welcome. And in it pops. Great start for McIlroy.

Nothing doing for Collin Morikawa, who had a testing putt from 25 feet and ends up with a par.

  3. Scheffler prepares by 'giggling a little bit'published at 19:02 British Summer Time 10 April 2022

How does the tournament leader relax on the night before the final round of the Masters?

If you're Scottie Scheffler you stick on The Office. Imagine it's more Michael Scott than David Brent for the American.

"It's by far my favourite show. I love it. I think we are like two episodes into season four," he revealed after yesterday's round.

"I'm just looking forward to sitting back and giggling a little bit and eating some good food."

Danny Willett followed his 2016 Green Jacket with three missed cuts on the trot.

But the Englishman, who at one stage dropped to 462 in the world rankings, is also on course for a finish near to the top of the leaderboard again.

The 34-year-old dug in on Saturday, playing some pretty solid golf and will be hoping for more of the same with a sprinkling of birdies thrown in for good measure.

Only Cameron Smith managed to plot his way around Augusta National in a better score than England's Tommy Fleetwood on Saturday.

The 31-year-old is competing in his sixth Masters having made his debut here in 2017 and is in with a decent shout of bettering his best finish (T17) in 2018.

  6. Another top 10 for McIlroy?published at 18:45 British Summer Time 10 April 2022

Rory McIlroy used four hand warmers to combat the low temperatures and cool breezes on Saturday.

And the Northern Irishman will hopefully be nice and warm from the off as he sets his sights on a seventh top-10 finish in the Masters.

His record at Augusta National suggests that could well be on the cards. He finished the third round in a tie for ninth and since 2012, he has been 21 under across eight final rounds here, with six of those in the 60s.

  7. Good omen for Scheffler?published at 18:40 British Summer Time 10 April 2022

    Scheffler -9 (19:50 BST)

Scottie Scheffler is a decent leader for the third year in a row in the final round of the Masters - will he get the job done too?

A bogey for Tiger at 11 after coming up right of the green with his approach and failing to complete the up and down, instead rolling in for five. It takes him into double digits, although he responds with a par at the daunting par-three 12th.

Seems Scottie Scheffler can leave the padded sleeveless jacket in the locker room today.

    Spring has sprung at Augusta.

The sunshine further brings out the blooming botanical colours which even Kew would be proud of.

How've you prepared for Masters Sunday? Are there are specific routines you go through before settling down for the conclusion of the first major of the year?

And what treats have you got ready to see you through what may yet become a nerve-shredding finale?

  11. Scores to be had?published at 18:24 British Summer Time 10 April 2022

There are scores to be had at Augusta on Sunday, much more so than during the rest of the week. Russell Henley is four under through 10 and lowest so far for the day, but Scotland's Robert MacIntyre is not far behind at three under having just completed the front nine.

An impressive par for Tiger Woods at 10, having hooked a drive into the trees and been forced to lay up sideways on to the fairway. From there he's hit a sublime iron to a few feet above the flag and rolled in for par.

It started promisingly for Tiger Woods with a birdie at the second, but bogeys through four, five and six have pegged the five-time Masters champion back to nine over par for the week.

He's still the biggest draw at Augusta National right now as he starts the back nine...

Forget the score, how good is it just to see Tiger Woods in the famous red shirt playing Augusta on Masters Sunday?

Tiger himself must have doubted this could happen again after that dreadful car accident, but he's doing it, and he's getting through all four rounds at a major.

He won't be a regular on the PGA Tour after this, but if his body holds up then you better believe he'll have his sights set on St Andrews for the Open in July.

  20. 'Pretty perfect weather'published at 18:04 British Summer Time 10 April 2022

After difficult scoring conditions yesterday, could we see a few more birdies today?

The weather has certainly changed for the better, according to the reporters at Augusta National.

Yesterday, only nine players shot under par - including our final pairing.

More birdies today would mean more movement and potentially more excitement.
