Having stiffed a lovely approach to six feet, the Norwegian completes the birdie task. That'll warm his cockles.

Back to the leader at 14, looking to recover from a bogey at the last hole.

A beautifully controlled, shorn-off iron from Tyrrell Hatton finds the green and he'll have 20 feet or so left for birdie.

Scottie Scheffler moves to -10 with a nice birdie at 11.

Two names that I haven't mentioned today, but are very much in the mix, are David Lingmerth of Sweden, who is two under for the day and -10 for the tournament, and Byeong-Hun An, who also sits at -10.

Another bogey for Rory McIlroy, this time at the ninth, as the wind wreaks havoc with his green-side chip.

That's back-to-back birdies and the outright lead for Hatton after he profits from a terrific tee shot on the par-three 12th. Majestic stuff from the Englishman.

Tyrell Hatton has just put one in close on the 12th, as he looks to take the outright lead.

And Bob MacIntyre follows suit, with a dart at 11.

Ya beauty! After finding the green in two big hits, Bob MacIntyre drains his eagle putt on the par-five 10th and is up to -12, just one off the lead.

He's absolutely loving it and so are the fans.

After his blistering start this morning, Tyrell Hatton looked like he could do no wrong.

He then bogeyed the 10th, but bounces back with birdie on 11 to stay one shot behind Rory McIlroy.

Rory McIlroy offers his playing partners some of whatever it is he's eating, as they wander down the eighth fairway.

Tommy Fleetwood politely declines, but Tom Kim has a big grin on his face and tucks in.

Wonder what it is these golfers eat? It's probably not the unhealthy confectionary that I work my way through when I hack my way round.
