    MacIntyre -8 (1)

Bob MacIntyre shows everyone how it's done off the tee on the first. The Oban native blasts a lovely low cut under the wind, and finds the middle of the fairway.

His second shot isn't bad either, safely aboard, but his birdie putt misses on the low side.

Not to worry though - plenty of time to go, and he's well placed. MacIntyre is one of three Scots at eight under, alongside Grant Forrest and Calum Hill.

Good morning from a blustery Renaissance Club, where the eyes of the golfing world are trained on Rory McIlroy.

The Northern Irishman leads the field in East Lothian with just one round left to play, and looks in stellar form heading into next week's Open Championship.

McIlroy sits on 13 under par, but the tricky conditions mean that low scores will be far less likely today.

The leaders will be out on the course in just over half an hour's time, and we'll keep you across all the events as they happen.
