GB in gold with one dive remainingpublished at 07:47 British Summer Time 26 July 2021

    Men's synchronised 10m platform

OK, China are the pair the GB boys are keeping their eye on - the defending champions led through three rounds before an error at the last. Can they claw back the lead?

A huge 3.7 difficulty forward dive with a dizzying 4.5 somersaults! But it's not enough to reclaim the gold medal spot. Great Britain lead heading into the final round!

    It's a narrow, narrow lead.

It's even better than good. It's awesome.

I'm trying to keep my emotions in check!

We saw the Chinese falter in the last round - our boys have been unphased that all eyes are on them.

You can't discount the Russians - but I have seen that dive done better than that - they're feeling the pressure as well.

GB holding their nervepublished at 07:43 British Summer Time 26 July 2021

    Men's synchronised 10m platform

How're your nerves? I imagine everyone watching at home is feeling tense, never mind Tom Daley and Matty Lee on the platform.

This is their penultimate dive, a chance to stretch the six-point gap at the top of the leaderboard further. It'll be a 3.4 difficult reverse 3.5 somersault in tuck for the leaders - 89.76 is the verdict, it sends them to 370.80. Looking good with one to go...

    Women's -67kg quarter-final

There wasn't much to separate Lauren Williams and Hedaya Wahba in the first round but GB's Williams has taken control in the second.

She lands a head shot and a punch in quick succession to lead 12-3.

That is an unusual error (from the Chinese).

That is an emptying of the pool - not sure how much of a hammering they'll get from the judges.

GB move into gold!published at 07:37 British Summer Time 26 July 2021

    Men's synchronised 10m platform

Great Britain have set the target of 281.04 after four rounds, but with China still to dive.

The defending champions are last on the platform once more, but was that a slight error? It looked like a big splash on entrance. An anxious wait for the scores...

And GB move into the gold medal spot on 281.04 from China's 274.82! Two rounds to come...

There is potential to score highly.

Lovely! Matty didn't quite nail the entry but the synchronisation there was beautiful.

Coach was very happy there - delighted her reaction.

Watching the slow motion together and they are so perfectly in time - wonderful dive!

Huge dive from GB pairpublished at 07:34 British Summer Time 26 July 2021

    Men's synchronised 10m platform

We're into the business end now. What do Tom Daley and Matty Lee have in their locker? They've held the silver medal spot all the way through the competition so far, it'll need something special to turn that into gold.

A back 3.5 somersault in pike - this one a 3.6 difficulty, but they make it look easy! Hugs in the stands from the GB coaches, that must mean it's good... 93.96! They go top for the moment.

It's been the same pattern so far, Great Britain edging to the top of the leaderboard before the Chinese pair dive and then the reigning champions reclaiming the gold medal spot.

It's another flawless dive for China and after three rounds they are back at the summit on 202.38, with Tom Daley and Matty Lee second at 187.08.

Little bit of over- rotation from Matty there on his dive.

They're not quite at the right time, they will be penalised on the synchronisation on that.

Tom Daley and Matty Lee take the board for their third dive. An inward 3.5 somersault with tuck, can they make a move on the leaders? That looks good! What will it score? 79.68 is the result, not quite as much as they were hoping for...

It is one of the more complicated ones they could choose.

Again - lovely from both the divers there.

Great synchronisation - not too much splash!

Not quite as smooth and elegant as the Chinese pair we saw earlier but a good result.

A back 1.5 somersault with a half twist, executed very well! 54.60 is the score and it sends them into top spot again on 107.40. So far, so good.
