This is Matty Lee's first Olympic games and he has won gold.

It's an amazing story for Tom Daley who burst onto the scene at 14 years of age - teenage sensation!

He's had some real highs and many lows throughout his Olympics career but here he is, a dad at 27, an Olympic champion - finally!

That was a nervy one. Egypt's Hedaya Wahba clawed back point after point in the third round but GB's Lauren Williams holds on for a 13-12 win.

She's through to the semi-finals, where she'll fight Ruth Gbagbi of the Ivory Coast at 08:30 BST.

And Team GB could be on track for another medal. Adam Burgess has just taken the lead in the men's canoe event.

The man from Staffordshire was third of 10 paddlers and safely negotiated the tricky 25-gate course against the clock without any penalties in a time of 103.86 seconds.

Still a bit of a way to go, though.

Not quite enough for the Chinese and Great Britain have a gold medal in the diving pool.

Tom Daley - finally the Olympic dream comes true, and for Matty Lee on his debut.

That is remarkable. Tom Daley, 13 years after his Olympic debut at Beijing in 2008, finally gets his gold medal and for 23-year-old Matty Lee is it gold on his Games debut!

China reached a superb 470.58, but it was not enough after GB's wonderful 471.81.

Wow.

This is an astonishing performance by Tom Pidcock as he continues to power his way to Olympic gold.

The 21-year-old from Leeds holds a six second lead over the field with a couple of laps to go.
