And it's not easy reading for Wales.

Only two wins in this year's Six Nations and they'll finish second bottom of the table.

France are currently in second place, but could be bettered by Ireland if they beat England with a bonus-point win.

This was the moment just shy of 100 minutes on the clock that France finally broke through the Welsh defence...

Right, so the winning try was awarded to Camille Chat - France's replacement hooker - but then changed following the game to Damien Chouly.

93 mins: George North claims to have been bitten, reviewed by officials and deemed inconclusive. (France 13-18 Wales)

93 - 100 mins: Yet more scrums. Lots of whistles. (France 18-18 Wales)

100 mins: Camille Chat drives over the line. (France 18-18 Wales)

100 mins: Camille Lopez conversion wins the game for France. (France 20-18 Wales)

Wales captain Alun Wyn Jones on BBC One:

"Amusement that we got to 100 minutes on the clock.

"It was an interesting decision that their tighthead went off after 90 mins. There will have to be someone looking at that. The technical officials will have to review that.

"The penalties were the crutch that got them there in the end.

"But it's irrelevant what happened at the end there.

"Two wins from five matches is not good enough. We felt we deserved more today and felt we did enough in the 80 minutes to win the game."

For 79 minutes that was one of the most forgettable games you are every likely to watch. Wayne Barnes lost total control in the last 20 minutes.

It was an absolute farce in the end.

After 20 minutes of added play, France get the try which seals the win.

It was far from a spectacle for the majority of the game and it ended in chaos.

You will not get a more controversial end to this game.

It is a try. We can go all the way back in what seems like a lifetime now to when France manufactured a way to get their first choice tight-head back on.

A very questionable substitution that allowed Rabah Slimani to come back on.

In the end that's not satisfactory for anybody.

Good job Samson Lee didn't head to the showers.

Samson Lee sent to the sin-bin on 85 mins and he makes it back onto the field.

Now, to add to the drama, we have allegations of a bite from a French player.

George North says he has a mark so we'll stop to review this.

Remember Wales are a man-down so if France to decide to move the ball this could be the end of Wales.

They get the ball out left from the scrum but that's another penalty advantage coming.

France still in possession as the ball goes loose.

It's picked up by Gael Fickou and back we go for the penalty.
