There is no way for Argentina to get back into this game because England are completely comfortable in defence.
England are being pragmatic and they are forcing Argentina deep until they give them what they want. They are nowhere near their best but they haven't needed to be.
England 25-3 Argentina
Benjamin Urdapilleta has been brought in for Nicolas Sanchez for this match. But the Argentina fly-half has been poor when putting boot to ball.
An up and under to no-one and his team are still under pressure in their own 22.

So much negativity from some England fans! This is a big challenge, Pumas full of passion fighting for their lives, England have calmly broken them down with an excellent performance, forwards immense, efficient finishing!

England have just got to go through their processes. I love the fact they are bubbling along nicely throughout the tournament.
They are not knocking it out of the park but it's better than it was against Tonga. Then against the USA and now today. They are using the bench so all of the players are getting a feel of the intensity they will need for the final.
England 25-3 Argentina
Argentina have changed their entire front row. And Nigel Owens inducts the new Pumas in the way this game is being officiated, taking them away for a talking to after a couple of scrums go south.
England 25-3 Argentina
A change for England as George Kruis gives way to Courtney Lawes in the engine room.
Owen Farrell
Over it goes as England stretch out and over the horizon.
Fourteen-man Argentina look like the bottom has fallen out of their challenge and their Rugby World Cup campaign in the wake of that first-half red.
England 22-3 Argentina
England have a penalty shot as Argentina stray offside. It should be a gimme for Owen Farrell from bang in front and on the 22m.
England 22-3 Argentina
George Ford is pulling all the strings in this second half. He is orchestrating this game as easily as if he were sat back in a oak and leather war room rather than right in the white heat of the battlefront.
Anthony Watson claims a steepling up and under cross kick but is hustled into touch, before Ford nudges another pin-point touchfinder into the Pumas' 22m.
England 22-3 Argentina
England have their foot on the throat of this Argentina team. Maro Itoje prises the ball out of a Puma paw and George Ford puts a kick into the corner to turn up the pressure gauge on 14-man Argentina.

England look in sync and they are attacking the right areas. Argentina are off their feet and they are running up dark alleys.
England 22-3 Argentina
Willi Heinz is on in place of Ben Youngs at scrum-half for England.

England recycle the ball on the 22 and add pace to their game. Manu Tuilagi takes four players with him and George Ford eases over from close range.
George Ford (con Farrell)
Heavy-duty carries from Sam Underhill and Manu Tuilagi dint up the Pumas' defence and George Ford spies the gaps between Mathias Moroni and Emiliano Boffelli to dive over the final metre.
Bonus point bagged.
And Owen Farrell, after missing all his first-half kicks, lands the conversion from out wide.

Tom Curry is packing down at eight against this under-staffed Argentina scrum following Tomas Lavanini's first-half red card. England break left and Jonny May's run put them within 15m...

Sam Underhill taking out the trash. The Bath man gets underneath Argentina number eight Javier Ortega Desio, shovelling him backwards and giving England the advantage at the breakdown.

England got this and in control but too many elements of their game very sloppy in that half. Young's kicking it away far too much as usual until the last ten minutes. Better teams will punish us for some of this sloppy play.
Jim, Bucks
This is not an England performance that suggest we can progress much further in the tournament. Against 14 men we are ahead due to Argentinian errors at both ends of the pitch.

Owen Farrell took such a clattering in the red card incident and there was no Head Injury Assessment before he took the penalty.
I would have given that penalty to George Ford because his numbers are international class. Farrell has missed all four from the same place which could be a technical glitch or mistiming when he got his bell rung.

Well, this might be significant.
Billy Vunipola has not reappeared for the second half. Instead Lewis Ludlam is into the fray off the bench.
Just a precaution or something more serious? Vunipola had his ankle strapped in the first half after a tweak...
We are back under way.
