The skill and execution. Scotland, with not only the bravery but the execution. They got the advantage which is all they needed.

Richie Gray, what a pass. Is there anyone else out there you would want to finish that than Duhan van der Merwe?

Duhan van der Merwe (con Finn Russell)

    Shut the front door!

Scotland move England left and then right with their accurate passing and terrific support lines.

It's eventually fed to Duhan van der Merwe on the wing and he cuts back inside to power over for his second try and Scotland's fourth.

    England 23-22 Scotland

You can feel the nervous energy at Twickenham. We've been here before when it ended 38-38 in one of the best games I've ever seen in 2019.

    Fine margins.

    England 23-19 Scotland

    Matt Dawson
Former England scrum-half on BBC Radio 5 Live

The way Finn Russell holds and uses the ball with his feet and hands, there is no one who does it in the world like him. It's like watching Roger Federer. He plays tennis in a completely different way. Russell does things that are phenomenal.

    England 23-22 Scotland

    John Barclay
Former Scotland captain on BBC Radio 5 Live

This is one of the best games I have watched in a long time. This is proper Test match rugby on a knife edge.

    It's fingertip stuff from Scotland.

Finn Russell decides to kick the ball wide but Kyle Steyn cannot cleanly take it.

His outstretched hand just fumbles it forward, but we will come back for the penalty and Russell will have the chance to cut the lead.

  12. Calcutta Cup up for grabspublished at 66 mins

    England 23-19 Scotland

Just a reminder that Scotland are looking for their third Calcutta Cup triumph in a row and second successive win over England at Twickenham.

England lead by four points as we tick into the final 15 minutes. All to play for...

    England 23-19 Scotland

Former England scrum-half on BBC Radio 5 Live

There was a bit of momentum in the ruck for Scotland. The players concentrated on blasting through. If they smashed the ruck and stayed on their feet they would have had that back

    England 20-19 Scotland

    Matt Dawson

Just what you need, those types of characters, those old heads that can come into the front row with all the experience. Invaluable having someone like Dan Cole come on for the last 20 minutes.

  18. Postpublished at 62 mins

    England 20-19 Scotland

Veteran front-rows Dan Cole and Mako Vunipola are on for England and the former is responsible for winning the scrum against the head as Twickenham lets out a cheer of sheer relief.

    Invaluable experience.

    England 20-19 Scotland

Is it try number four and the bonus point for Scotland?

The ever-reliable Stuart Hogg just needs to make a simple pass back inside to Kyle Steyn - but it's too high and the winger spills it forward.

That should have been a seven-pointer as Steyn would have been clear.

    Let off for England.

    Solid defence.
