  1. 'This is controlled aggression'published at 15:46 British Summer Time 3 July 2016

Former British number one on BBC One

If Nick Kyrgios stays like this, with this concentration and focus, Andy Murray will be in for a tough match. This is controlled aggression right now.

I think at the moment he isn't capable of playing the seven matches to win the tournament. I think he'll have too many dips. He is so exciting to watch though and if he can channel this kind of aggression and variety, it will be great.

    Kyrgios 6-3 6-7 6-3 6-4 Lopez

Playing like a dream rather than a nightmare, the brash boy of the sport, and even a technician like Feliciano Lopez could do nothing to derail his charge. Andy Murray knows he'll have a match on his hands on Monday afternoon, and so do we...

  3. 'Special character'published at 15:44 British Summer Time 3 July 2016

I don't care who you are, how experienced you are...to force yourself to be as positive as Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in those last three points takes someone with special character.

Match point! Isner gets within sight of victory after battering his way to match point with a succession of forehands, prompting Tsonga to smack a ball out of the stadium and pick up a code violation. The Frenchman does well to calm down and see off the danger with a big serve, big forehand combination. Brilliant stuff. Isner then holds rapidly.

  5. Game and second setpublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 3 July 2016

    Zverev 3-6 4-6 Berdych

The Berdman in full flight on Centre - two sets up and cruising. If the 19-year-old wunderkind pulls it off from here we can settle back for a classic.

Tsonga will want this done by 8pm...with France playing Iceland in the quarter-final of Euro 2016.

Chris Sansome: With all these long matches, is John Isner being paid by the hour these days?!

Kenny Simpson: I do enjoy epic 5 setters...but I think it might be time to get tiebreaks...even if it's at 12-12 or something

"The day ball boys became ball men," was how chief sports writer Tom Fordyce described the 2010 marathon match - some of those young pups have probably yet to fully recover. Merton Council will need to convert the local pool into a giant ice bath after this one. Tsonga gets a whiff of hope at 30-30, Isner cleans up with a couple of serves. Four hours and counting...

A cracking forehand into the corner helps Isner move towards another break but after a bit of a lull for a few games, the crowd is energised again as the odd glimpse of a break comes and goes.

We have a sniff of a break! Isner gets to 15-30 and winces as Tsonga hits a forehand that just catches the line, a blade of grass from giving the American match point. It's not to be and Tsonga takes the game before leaping in the air and urging the crowd to get behind him. Classic Jo Willy.

Isner wallops down his 31st ace of the match on his way to another hold, and then takes up the familiar cross-legged position at the changeover while taking on board some form of doubtless hideous energy bar. He must be thinking 'why me?', surely.

Mmm, gossamer backhand cross-court winner from Kyrgios, and that sets up a break point - Lopez to the net, Krygios whipcrack forehand down the line, Lopez... into the net! Break snatched away, a rogue Aussie missile currently heading Andy Murray's way in Monday's fourth round.

It's a summery scene in Wimbledon Park, just over the road from the main event, where people have camped overnight in the hope of getting top tickets on Monday.

John Joannou has set up a badminton net with his three pals from north London after joining the queue at 7pm last night.

"We've got air beds in the tent and have slept well. There's a great atmosphere. We hope to see Roger Federer in action - he's the greatest," said John, 33, who works at barbers JC Hair For Men in Southgate,
